Seven Masters, One Path guarantees access to deep meditative experience for people seeking relief from emotional and mental stress, and especially for anyone who longs to experience a deeper sense of connection with our spiritual core. No matter how divergent all the theologies, philosophies, rituals, and dogmas of the world’s great meditative traditions might appear, John Selby reveals that the underlying intent of the original masters was remarkably similar—to help people to point their attention toward regular contact with the divine, through opening hearts and souls to direct communion with God by whatever name. Offering one meditation each from the seven teachers, Seven Masters, One Path emphasizes the commonalities in the diverse traditions, ultimately providing a unique and accessible meditation program that anyone can master.

Book excerpt: In 1924, Paul Foster Case expanded his First Year Course by developing two advanced lecture series which he entitled Section uConcentration and Section D: Magic. The lectures built upon the material in the First Year Course(which had become known at this time as Section A:The Life Power and Section B: The Seven Steps to Spiritual Unfoldment). The Fraternity of the Hidden Light has recently published both of these lecture series as Occult Fundamentals and Spiritual Unfoldment - Volume 1: The Early Writings. This current volume provides the two additional lecture series that complete the original fundamental course structure of Paul Case. Section C, Concentration, expounds the esoteric secrets of Meditation. This section is a very advanced series of lessons that not only develops the essential skill of concentration but commences the student upon thePath of Return with a series of powerful Qabalistic Meditations. These Meditations have a tendency to facilitate deep spiritual experience in those who are prepared and chose to participate. This lesson series indeed represents some of the most advanced material written by Paul Case. Section D, Magic, provides the esoteric secrets of Magic in a very rare exposition of the fundamental tenets of magical practice by one of the greatest occultists of the 20th century. Here again is material published by Paul Case that cannot be found in any of his later developed lesson series and provides insight into the tools of the trade practiced by Golden Dawn enthusiasts today.

This book was released on 2018-07-23 with total page 144 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The first book to examine and extract the workable teachings from the The Secret of the Golden Flower. Forget dogma and belief systems… This is DIY meditation method, especially for those individuals tempted to brave the solitary path. It’s only limits are your ability to envision and strive for a new YOU. Since the publication of Deciphering the Golden Flower One Secret at a Time (ASIN: B001A9TN7Q) in 2008 (DGF), readers have asked for an in-depth guidebook on using The Secret of the Golden Flower (SGF) to awaken kundalini in a manner, and with results, similar to those described in JJ Semple's DGF. The Secret of the Golden Flower: A Kundalini Meditation Method is that book, a much anticipated interpretive guide to the SGF as well as a sequel to his DGF autobiographical kundalini memoir. Kundalini is the formative, biological life force energy in your body. Most people don't realize that kundalini resides within them; they are simply unaware of its actuality and its potential. Which means, of course, that it may never "re-activate" either spontaneously or otherwise, not unless you learn how to induce a Kundalini awakening through meditation practice. Even then, the outcome is never certain. There's a quantum or karmic aspect to the process. Wilhelm, Cleary, and Jung translated the book and commented on its teachings, but not one of them ever practiced the method. This book compares their translations and commentaries with JJ Semple's empirical practice of the method, using his ultimate success in awakening kundalini as the arbiter of its suitability as a method — in essence, the author identifies where the written word deviates from actual practice. He extracts the workable teachings from the esoteric text of the SGF and shapes them into a practical modern method. By cross-referencing both the Cleary and the Wilhelm versions, the author details each version's contribution to the kundalini awakening process. A chapter comparing Golden Flower Meditation (GFM) to the Microcosmic Orbit (MCO) is also included. Says JJ Semple, “Did I take every word and every passage in the Wilhelm version literally? No more than I take every word or passage in the Bible, or in Cleary’s translation, literally. I realized that a successful practice depended on problem solving and detective work, that searching for literal meaning was a waste of time. Success would be found in doing, not in fantasizing.” In fact, the SGF has two objectives. One, it's a manual for kundalini meditation, even though the term "kundalini" never appears in the text. Put aside what you may have been told or read about the SGF and accept this as fact — one borne out by centuries of realized practitioners who practiced the method, a fact vetted by contemporaries such as Gopi Krishna. Two, it's an explanation of ontology, which the dictionary defines as: “the branch of metaphysics dealing with the nature of being.” Neither objective is readily understood without practicing the method. Sure, it’s possible to approach the text as an academic challenge, but the best way to reconcile the two objectives is by practicing the method, which, if you are patient, allows you to “grok” the ontological elements as you move forward. The two are not separated in the text; they’re mingled together, which, as you might imagine, makes understanding problematic. Says JJ Semple, “Although the ontological portions obscured the practical aspects to some degree, I decided to forge ahead. Ultimately, once the meditation took its course, once the light started to circulate, I was catapulted out of the limiting duality of the physical world into the metaphysical actuality of ‘the great One...which has nothing above it.’" In short, he learned that enlightenment comes with practice.

Book excerpt: This Book Is Simple, Yet Complete. Secrets for Success is a book I've wanted to write for a decade. Who is this Meditation Book For? If you want to learn basic meditation, or progress further - this book is for you. Feel free to write me directly and ask any questions you have as you practice. If you want to learn from a book that is free from religious bias and undertones - this book is for you. If you want to use meditation to either relax, or reach the amazing states of jhana - this book is for you. Jhanas are a series of mind-states that occur during meditation when the mind is focused and thought has stopped. There is nothing to compare these states of mind to, they are unlike anything you've ever experienced. Much more about them later! If you have been a monk in the past, or some other serious student of meditation and you have yet to be able to experience the higher levels of meditation - this book is for you. Please download and read the preview of this comprehensive meditation book for free! Review by Paul Garrigan:"Vern Lovic is not afraid to tackle these special states of consciousness that fall into the category of jhanas. He not only describes them, but he also provides a path for people to experience these states for themselves. Most non-spiritual meditation manuals will completely ignore the jhanas - probably because these altered states of consciousness tend to have religious connotations. The spiritual books, on the other hand, can give the impression that the jhanas are very mysterious, maybe even dangerous, and not really within reach of beginner meditators. Vern spends a great deal of time discussing the jhanas. He claims that if you follow his approach, you will be able to experience these states while meditating for as little as twenty-minutes per day."Book Review by David Collett:In business there are many books written on what we should all be doing to improve; yet many of the authors are simply writers who have not created a successful business themselves. If you went and spent time with the author, you won't see them running a successful business. For me there is no difference in the way I observe Vern behave or speak in person compared with what he writes about on meditation. That is very important. In chapter 1, Vern covers twelve areas where he feels there has been a change in his life since he started meditating on the breath. The twelve areas he identifies from his own direct experience can all be described as a change in attitude and/or a change in the way he emotionally responds to external events as well as what is happening internally. Just those changes alone, ignoring the Jhanas completely, help to explain where the motivation comes from to want to write about meditation and to share it with others. The activity is so innocent, quick and costless yet provides such large dividends across many areas, when one begins to realize some of the benefits, it is hard not to want to share it with others, so at least they could try it themselves if they want to.That's the feeling I get with Vern. He knows from his own experience that simply spending some time with the breath each day completely and unexpectedly changed his life for the better. If you found a small money tree in a forest somewhere that grew leaves of $100 notes and it only produced two per day, it is likely you wouldn't tell anyone about it. You would keep it to yourself. If that same little tree was producing 400 to 500 $100 notes a day, in time you would realize there is too much just for you. You would want to tell others about it. That's a little how good meditation feels. It feels really good and you just wonder to yourself why more people aren't doing it.
