Book Synopsis The Philosophy of Viśiṣṭādvaita Vedānta by : S. M. Srinivasa Chari
Download or read book The Philosophy of Viśiṣṭādvaita Vedānta written by S. M. Srinivasa Chari and published by . This book was released on 2007 with total page 444 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The school of Vedanta designated as Visistadvaita was expounded by Sri Ramanuja in the classic Sri-Bhasya, which were developed by Sri Vedanta Desika in his two philosophical treatises titled Tattva-mukta-kalapa and Adhikarana-saravali. This scholarly work of Dr. S.M.S. Chari deals with the Adhikarana saravali. The variety of theories related to Vedanta which are discussed in the 156 Adhikaranas of the Vedanta-sutras are consolidated and presented in a sequential order under five major headings: the doctrine of Brahman, the doctrine of universe and Brahman, the doctrine of sadhana and the doctrine of Paramapurusartha. In the concluding chapter on General Evaluation, Dr. Chari discusses dispassionately the differing views of Samkara, Ramanuja and Madhva on the fundamental controversial theories of Vedanta. This volume along with the author's other books on Vedanta would be invaluable for a fuller understanding of Visistadvaita in all its aspects.

Download or read book A Hundred Measures of Time written by Nammalwar and published by Penguin UK. This book was released on 2014-05-15 with total page 267 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: ‘Look, my feet measure beyond earth and sky!’ he said and touched the sky. I have surrendered to my lord who glanced at me with his large radiant eyes. The Tiruviruttam is an iconic poem by Nammāḻvār (c. ninth century CE), the greatest of the āḻvār poet-saints of the Tamil Śrīvaiṣṇava tradition. Its hundred interlinked verses celebrate the love between an anonymous heroine and hero, who come to be identified with Nammāḻvār and his beloved deity, Viṣṇu. The poet masterfully weaves the erotic and esoteric to reveal both the contours of love and the never-ending cycles of separation and union, of birth and death, from which only Viṣṇu can offer release. In A Hundred Measures of Time, Archana Venkatesan has crafted a sonorous free-verse rendering and an accompanying far-ranging essay to delight poetry lovers and scholars alike.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We always wanted planet Earth to perform better, and we sent some higher paradigm shifts inside the third-dimensional world of that planet. We gave them the perfect hint about almost everything. Leonardo said, "Everything is connected to everything else." Tesla mentioned, "3, 6, 9 is the key to the universe." Einstein contemplated, "The distinction between the past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion." Earthlings ignored our hint almost every time. *** A higher-dimensional species created a simulated universe to complete the chain of incidents that happened before. The level four parallel universe species grow aware of this simulation, and after Amanda's hypothesis on the Theory of Dimigliostasia, a civilization of Zatch planet explores four other equally advanced civilizations inside their galaxy. After the counterinsurgency conquest between five habitable worlds, Valmir realizes that higher-dimensional entities created a STAROLICTS (Subconscious Transformed Artificially Rooted Organic Legeme Implemented Cerebral Tran-manifested System) program to create their interferences inside different levels of the universe, and by uniting them, he develops an Omega Field Generator that can maneuver two cosmic strings to discover disputed enigmas like: Who is the creator of this universe? What happens after death? How can a human imagine? If this universe is a simulation, then who decides what we are? Who are we, and what will we become?
