At the corners arc domed towers, and the important entrances are lofty and Imposing. Cost $604,000. Agricultural Palace. - The building is 500x1,600 feet, with a cornice line 50 feet high. It contains IS acres of floor space, being the largest exposition building ever elected for a single department. The Palace of Horticulture is n near neighbor on the the south, and the two buildings stand in the midst of a great garden of 69 acres devoted to outdoor exhibits. Cost $529,940. Transportation Palace - 525x1,300 feet. Cost $696,009. In its 15 acres of exhibit space there are four miles of tracks for the display of locomotives. Electricity Palace. - Never at an exposition has such a magnificent building been set apart for electricity. It Is entirely surrounded by lagoons and is reached by bridges. Its shortest side Is 450 feet. The two equal sides are 525 feet, and the north front is 750 feet. It covers 7 acres. Cost $399,940. Horticultural Palace. - This beautiful building Is 400x8OO feet. Cost $228,000. Large conservatories are situated in ibis structure. Education Palace. - Has the general shape of a key-s stone, with a northern facade 730 feet In length and a southern facade 430 feet in length. The two equal sides are 525 feet each. The building covers 7 acres of ground. It is the first building solely for educational exhibits ever erected atan internationalexposition. Cost $335,000. Forestry and fisheries - 400x600 feet. Cost $350, -000. The interior Is arranged so as to give the visitor an opportunity to view with advantagethe living specimens of fish from the various lakes and rivers and the const of the United States. They will be shown In great glass tanks, lighted from above by looking through the glass sides from darkened passageways.
