Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The objective of this book is to explain today's spiritual ascension of earth and humanity at this unique period of planetary history and how the Divine Beings are helping us transcend and transform. The book is part of the literature that is being created about the post-2012 transition. The book is deeply grounded in the author's own personal experience in working with the spiritual masters, in teaching spirituality to others, and in connecting the spiritual changes with current world events such as the environmental crisis, financial collapse, UFOs, and war and political crises. The book also offers detailed information in the traditions of Gnosticism and the perennial philosophy and provides numerous aids for seekers on establishing and maintaining their own spiritual practice. The themes of the book are:• How the Aeons, or Divine Beings of Gnostic times, have returned to the consciousness of humanity to help guide the ongoing Ascension.• How we were created by God to evolve back to our Original Face; i.e., who we really are in our pristine goodness and purity.• How the Aeons have been contacted through channeling by two specific groups: those channeling The Nine and those channeling the RA Material.• How facing our subconscious and transforming the ego are essential to our personal transformation. The goal is to find the love in our hearts that will take us from third density “egoic” consciousness to fourth density consciousness of the spiritual heart. Here the heart chakra opens, allowing us to have love for all creation and experience God as a Presence within.• How we are tempted by ego and thereby fall under the influence of “The Others”; i.e. Satanic presences, the same as those which brought about the fall of Adam and Eve.• How certain archetypal teachings such as the Kabbalah, the Law of Three and Law of Seven and the Ray of Creation provide a context of ideas that can give us a map for understanding. • How the author himself experiences the Divine Beings within his own consciousness. • Who Jesus really is; i.e., an extraterrestrial presence under the overall guidance of the Aeons. Jesus is on earth today in his etheric form to aid humanity whenever called upon.• How the concept of “sin” has been made obsolete under the new spiritual dispensation and replaced by the idea of “error” that can be atoned for and surmounted. • How the New Thought movement, A Course in Miracles, the teachings of Indian masters like Ramdas, and other sources point the way to the Ascension.• How the author's experience and involvement over forty years in several major spiritual movements have brought him to his present level of understanding and offered him tremendous hope for the future. • How the author's work with the government during his 32-year career, his involvement as a whistleblower with the space shuttle Challenger disaster, and his work with the world of government finance have given him opportunities to search for and serve the truth in everyday life.• How the “Controllers” of humanity are seeking in vain to bolster the egoic structures they operate to avoid what feels to them like chaos and collapse; whereas the old must give way to the new in every field of life. • How the teachings of Jesus are further reflected in many spiritual movements today, including his appearance to Glenda Green resulting in the teachings contained in the epic account entitled "Love Without End: Jesus Speaks." • The role played by UFOs, crop circles and ET contact in helping raise humanity's consciousness of other worlds and our own possibilities within the cosmos. • How, in the face of overwhelming environmental, political, economic, and ethical problems facing humanity, the New Earth is yet in formation and how each individual can be a part of it. Specific spiritual practices involving meditation, prayer and contemplation are given to assist in this end.

Book excerpt: This book’s primary focus is an understanding of the change to the formulas of Initiation brought about by the advent of the New Aeon—the Aeon of the Child—in 1904. It draws deeply from Jungian psychology, world mythology and religion, the teachings of Aleister Crowley, and the doctrines of the Mystery traditions. It explains how the revelations unique to this stage of human evolution impact the work of the individual aspirant. Much of what is written here is revealed for the first time, with every attempt to do so in clear and precise language.

Book excerpt: The Reagan Administration pushed hard for NASA to launch shuttle mission 51L, before it was ready. 73 seconds into the launch, the shuttle exploded, killing seven and leaving a nation traumatized. Richard Cook, lead resource analyst at NASA for the Solid Rocket Boosters, was the first to warn of possible catastrophic failure. His memo, detailing astronaut concerns and warnings from the shuttle builders at Morton Thiokol, was ignored by top NASA officials and members of the Reagan administration. In the aftermath, NASA launched an investigation to "discover" the cause of the disaster. Though within NASA there was absolute certainty about the O-ring failure, they began a cover-up by publicly proclaiming that the cause was unknown. A Reagan administration Commission perpetrated the same lie. When Cook realized that the Commission was not interested in the truth, he leaked the original documents to the New York Times, setting off a cascade of disclosures, including revelations by Morton Thiokol engineers that they had tried to stop the launch.--From publisher description.

For the right price, no deed is too dirty, no task is too dangerous, no foe too ferocious. Not even a demon. From wars ancient and terrible, wounds are bleeding. From seas deep and fathomless, demons are rising. From the mouth of hell, the Kraken Queen is calling. And all that stands between the damned and the mortal world are a pack of degenerates and the steel they carry. Seas will rise. Heaven will fall. Because in unfairly trying to execute her, they started a chain of events they're struggling to stop. Needing safety, she flees to Devil's Cradle, the home of monsters. A place for the outcasts, the fugitives, the crazies. A place ruled by the Ancients, seven beings who were once banished by the Aeons. Among the Ancients is the infamous Cain, brother of Abel and embodiment of jealousy - who, on another note, wants her in his bed. There's a heavy price for the safety the Ancients offer, but Wynter will have to pay it. She can't take on the Aeons alone. And she has no intention of dying - been there, done that. Not that she'll be the easy prey the Aeons are expecting. They have no knowledge of the ... thing that lives inside her. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the minds of some, universal salvation is a heretical idea that was imported into Christianity from pagan philosophies by Origen (c.185-253/4). Ilaria Ramelli argues that this picture is completely mistaken. She maintains that Christian theologians were the first people to proclaim that all will be saved and that their reasons for doing so were rooted in their faith in Christ. She demonstrates that, in fact, the idea of the final restoration of all creation (apokatastasis) was grounded upon the teachings of the Bible and the church's beliefs about Jesus' total triumph over sin, death, and evil through his incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension. Ramelli traces the Christian roots of Origen's teaching on apokatastasis. She argues that he was drawing on texts from Scripture and from various Christians who preceded him, theologians such as Bardaisan, Irenaeus, and Clement. She outlines Origen's often-misunderstood theology in some detail and then follows the legacy of his Christian universalism through the centuries that followed. We are treated to explorations of Origenian universal salvation in a host of Christian disciples, including Athanasius, Didymus the Blind, the Cappadocian fathers, Evagrius, Maximus the Confessor, John Scotus Eriugena, and Julian of Norwich.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Phillips undertakes a sequential reading of the Prologue of John's Gospel. By using the reading strategies of Iser, Emmott, and Eco, the book establishes a reading strategy termed sequential disclosure, which is then applied to the text. In order to arrive at the reading, preliminary chapters focus both on historical interpretation of the Prologue in terms of reader response and on the role of the author, the use of persuasion and the development of irony. Special focus is given to the role of the dramatic prologue, as well as the interaction between rhetoric, irony and community. As such, the book discusses the role of the reading process in developing a specific community language. The book focuses on the didactic role of the Prologue in teaching readers this language and so including them into the Johannine community. The reading of the Prologue highlights the key aspects of the reading process: ambiguity and disambiguation; resemanticization; antilanguage; community development and intertextuality. A sequential reading of the Prologue highlights the didactic and evangelistic role of this text. JSNTS 294

For Comrade Aeon, a homeless insurgent who fled to the jungle after a military crackdown on student protestors in 1976, it's a verdant refuge and the place from which he documents the underbelly of the city. For Ida Barnes, an ex-pat whose husband may be cheating on her, it's an inviting retreat. For Witty, an urbane property developer married to one of the city's most famous movie stars, it's a 'Bangkok Unicorn' - that rare chance to make his mark on the Bangkok skyline. But the slum-dwelling spirits who guard its secrets know that it holds a much darker history, that it masks the silent politics at the heart of Thai culture. Written with a tender compassion for Bangkok's people and customs, Comrade Aeon's Field Guide to Bangkok is a masterful, propulsive debut which introduces a fresh new talent in fiction

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Despite the surge of interest in Gnostic texts following the discovery of the Nag Hammadi library, the Coptic Books of Jeu and Pistis Sophia remain understudied. Often dismissed as convoluted, confused, and repetitious, Erin Evans convincingly shows that these texts represent the writings of a distinct religious group with a consistent system of theology, cosmology, and ritual practice. This book offers an in-depth examination of these texts, their relationship to other contemporary Gnostic ideas, and their use in the context of a practicing religious group. Three thematic sections demonstrate how the collection of texts functions as a whole, covering baptisms and mystical ascent procedures, guides to moral living, and introductory texts and myths.
