Download or read book The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ written by Levi Dowling and published by Courier Corporation. This book was released on 2012-03-06 with total page 274 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This visionary text professes to tell the complete story of Jesus' life, including the "lost" years, during which he traveled and studied in Tibet, Egypt, India, Persia, and Greece. First published in 1908, this mystical work is the cornerstone of a Christian denomination, the Aquarian Christine Church Universal, and it offers intriguing, controversial assertions about Christ's message. Jesus was conceived by a human father, author Levi Dowling states, and by effort and prayer rendered himself a fit vessel for "the Christ" โ the model for human existence and ultimate salvation. Dowling, who devoted forty years of preparation to the task of transcribing this volume's contents from original Akashic records, further asserts the reality of reincarnation and its culmination in the perfection of the human soul. Tracing Jesus' life from his birth in Bethlehem to his ascension from the Mount of Olives, Dowling offers complete details concerning the savior's years among monks, wise men, and seers throughout the Orient. Readers with an interest in occult lore and the history of religion will find this remarkable volume a source of endless fascination.

Book Synopsis The Dawning of the Golden Age of Aquarius: (Redefining the Concepts of God, Man, and the Universe) by : Albert Amao Ph. D.
Download or read book The Dawning of the Golden Age of Aquarius: (Redefining the Concepts of God, Man, and the Universe) written by Albert Amao Ph. D. and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2012 with total page 336 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We are at the threshold of a transitional period from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius. What should we expect from this coming New Era? What are its signs? What is the fate of human spirituality? What will the new concepts of God and of religion be? This book attempts to answer these questions based on well researched sources complemented and endorsed by cosmology, archeology, psychology, religion, Near East studies, and mythology, among other scientific disciplines. The book also intends to clarify the confusion created by some Protestant religious leaders and sensationalistic writers who have misinterpreted the signs of the transitional period as the end of the world. The truth is that we are witnessing a shift of ages, that is, the slow evolution from the Piscean Era to the commencing of a new worldwide social order, a new chapter in human history called the Aquarian dispensation. The huge conspiracy propounded by false prophets and some New Age writers, whether overtly or covertly, feeds the fear and anxiety of ordinary people with unfounded apocalyptic propaganda. This book attempts to give the reader an accurate perspective regarding the planetary transformations that are taking place; it offers hope and inspiration as we approach the Golden Age.
Book Synopsis Astrology and Popular Religion in the Modern West by : Dr Nicholas Campion
Download or read book Astrology and Popular Religion in the Modern West written by Dr Nicholas Campion and published by Ashgate Publishing, Ltd.. This book was released on 2012-09-01 with total page 474 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explores an area of contemporary religion, spirituality and popular culture which has not so far been investigated in depth, the phenomenon of astrology in the modern west. Locating modern astrology historically and sociologically in its religious, New Age and millenarian contexts, Nicholas Campion considers astrology's relation to modernity and draws on extensive fieldwork and interviews with leading modern astrologers to present an invaluable contribution to our understanding of the origins and nature of New Age ideology. This book challenges the notion that astrology is either 'marginal' or a feature of postmodernism. Concluding that astrology is more popular than the usual figures suggest, Campion argues that modern astrology is largely shaped by New Age thought, influenced by the European Millenarian tradition, that it can be seen as an heir to classical Gnosticism and is part of the vernacular religion of the modern west.

Book Synopsis Christian Astrology by : William Lilly
Download or read book Christian Astrology written by William Lilly and published by Astrology Center of America. This book was released on 2005-03 with total page 556 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Named "Christian" to avoid hassles (some things never change), this is the most famous, the most celebrated astrology book in the English language. It has been prized by students ever since its first publication in 1647. The Horary Astrology in these pages, in the hands of a master, is no mere parlour game. It is demanding and precise, combining science and art. Properly used, it will give answer to any well-defined question. William Lilly, famous throughout England for his almanacs & forecasts (he predicted London's Great Fire of 1666), lived during the English Civil War & was a minor historical figure in it. Into his studio came the rich and poor, nobles and commoners, with problems great and small. This new edition restores Lilly's original page layouts, with marginalia. Modern spelling throughout, this edition includes Lilly's bibliography, his original index & a new glossary. Also includes his original woodblock charts, and their modern versions. This is Lilly's great work as he himself knew it. In this volume: Book 1, An Introduction to Astrology, containing the use of an ephemeris; the erecting of a scheme of heaven; nature of the twelve signs of the Zodiac, of the planets; with a most easy introduction to the whole art of astrology. Book 2, The Resolution of All Manner of Questions, by a most methodical way, instructs the student how to judge or resolve all manner of questions contingent unto man, viz, of health, sickness, riches, marriage, preferment, journeys, etc. Some 35 questions inserted and judged.
Book Synopsis The Voice of the Silence by : Helena Petrovna Blavatsky
Download or read book The Voice of the Silence written by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and published by Library of Alexandria. This book was released on 2020-09-28 with total page 78 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: THE following pages are derived from "The Book of the Golden Precepts," one of the works put into the hands of mystic students in the East. The knowledge of them is obligatory in that school, the teachings of which are accepted by many Theosophists. Therefore, as I know many of these Precepts by heart, the work of translating has been relatively an easy task for me. It is well known that, in India, the methods of psychic development differ with the Gurus (teachers or masters), not only because of their belonging to different schools of philosophy, of which there are six, but because every Guru has his own system, which he generally keeps very secret. But beyond the Himalayas the method in the Esoteric Schools does not differ, unless the Guru is simply a Lama, but little more learned than those he teaches. The work from which I here translate forms part of the same series as that from which the "Stanzas" of the Book of Dzyan were taken, on which the Secret Doctrine is based. Together with the great mystic work called Paramartha, which, the legend of Nagarjuna tells us, was delivered to the great Arhat by the Nagas or "Serpents" (in truth a name given to the ancient Initiates), the Book of the Golden Precepts claims the same origin. Yet its maxims and ideas, however noble and original, are often found under different forms in Sanskrit works, such as the Dnyaneshvari, that superb mystic treatise in which Krishna describes to Arjuna in glowing colors the condition of a fully illumined Yogi; and again in certain Upanishads. This is but natural, since most, if not all, of the greatest Arhats, the first followers of Gautama Buddha were Hindus and Aryans, not Mongolians, especially those who emigrated into Tibet. The works left by Aryasanga alone are very numerous.
Book Synopsis Elemental Elementalism by : Seven Initiates
Download or read book Elemental Elementalism written by Seven Initiates and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2022-01-14 with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Elemental Elementalism is the holy scripture of the religion of the new age of the world. In this time of great transition, many old religious ideas are dying. The truths that underpin all genuine spiritual traditions, however, still exist. Elemental Elementalism details the tenets and associated beliefs of Elementalism, the religion of the Age of Aquarius. Beginning with the astonishing assertion that consciousness is the prima materia and, therefore, the ground of all being, Elemental Elementalism updates the perennial spiritual wisdom for the digital age. Across 60 chapters, arranged in three parts, Elemental Elementalism is a nuclear artillery barrage against the twin falsehoods of nihilistic, atheistic materialism and the Adharmic religions such as the Abrahamic cults. The first part of the book, Elemental Foundations, explains the foundational ideas and dogma of Elementalism. These include the Four Tenets, the Great Fractal, the Quadrijitu, the Masculine Elements, the Feminine Elements, the Great Axes, the Fundamental Attitudes and the Good News of Elementalism. The second part of the book, Elemental Conceptions, describes the Elementalist position on a range of timeless philosophical issues. Elementalist ideas about the creation of God and the physical world, good and evil, free will, the meaning of life, Heaven and Hell, pleasure and pain, death, justice and virtue are all covered. The third part of the book, Elemental Prescriptions, details a complete moral code and a guide to how to behave in our ever-changing, massively confusing modern world. This moral code includes the Major and Minor Aspirations, new sets of angels and demons for a new age, how to deal with various groups of people and moral hierarchies of beings, worlds and classes. Elemental Elementalism is an essential read for anyone who has seen beyond the material illusion but is wary of mainstream religion, especially as it is practiced in the West.

Book excerpt: This book attempts to illustrate how different Cosmic Ages have produced various spiritual leaders and examines their impact on the development of the religious landscape in which we presently reside. In the current Age of Aquarius, there appears to be a gradual collapse of the religious world, with the Catholic Religion seemingly on its last leg. In this Age of Revelation, the pressure of Truth becomes insurmountable. The Spiritual world, initially created by the Creator, has been appropriated by religious pretenders who have led people astray. Now, the time has come to reckon with the consequences, as the old adage goes. The corruption of religious leaders is coming to an end. What unfolds next in the Spiritual world remains uncertain. The Creator is conveying a clear me

Book Synopsis Myopic Me! Freedom from Religion by : John D Lane Jr
Download or read book Myopic Me! Freedom from Religion written by John D Lane Jr and published by Covenant Books, Inc.. This book was released on 2023-07-12 with total page 222 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When nine of us prayed at Holden Beach, we thanked God, though we had been the victims of the Shepherding Religion. But Jesus's proactive trip into the Wilderness had confronted an estimated forty-two hundred religions, according to current estimates. Jesus's bedrock actions, combined with His confrontation of "Legion," spelled the doom for religion's strongholds. Post-Holden Beach, my wife's dream revealed that "T-Jacks" come to snap at the ankles of every irreligious person, who nevertheless has formulated their own religion. They, we, become ensnared in the sweaty religion of Myopic Me! Paul says that Myopic Me! perfectly describes the crooked generation's love of self and money, contemptuous of Law, acting with cruelty, disobedient to parents, boastful, and loving pleasure while scoffing at God. Paul tells us that religion comes to everyone who demotes Christ's finished work. Thus, my five books address these battlefields for the soul of man: Captured by the Faith-Time Continuum Jerusalem with Solomon & Einstein Made in the Bipolar Image of God Dividing Wall of Hostility Freedom from Religion
