Este tema se ha investigado en educación, pero no se ha encontrado evidencia de ello en educación para jóvenes y adultos. Dicho nivel educativo, se visualiza relevante para la sociedad puesto que su demanda es creciente y atiende a individuos que forman parte de la fuerza laboral y/o que muchas veces traen consigo un historial de fracasos académicos o han abandonado la educación convencional para hacerse cargo de sus familias o simplemente buscan lograr su educación formal, en un sistema que les permita recuperar el tiempo perdido e insertarse con mayores herramientas y oportunidades en el mundo laboral logrando inclusive, continuar estudios superiores.El objetivo de la presente tesis es conocer la relación que puede existir entre la gestión organizacional, con el compromiso, la motivación y la satisfacción de estudiantes y docentes, en Establecimientos educacionales de adultos. Se trabajó mediante una metodología selectiva o correlacional, su diseño es de tipo no experimental y transversal. La población está conformada por estudiantes y docentes que se desempeñan en centros de educación de adultos de la región del Biobío Chile. La muestra la componen 358 estudiantes y 59 Docentes. Se utilizó como instrumento de recolección de datos una escala tipo Likert que fue confeccionada y validad mediante técnicas cualitativas y cuantitativas. Los datos fueron tratados mediante análisis descriptivos de frecuencias, correlación probabilística de Pearson y regresión lineal múltiple. Los resultados muestran que existe una buena valoración de las variables de estudio con excepción de la motivación docente. Se encontró correlación positiva y significativa entre las dimensiones incluidas y en cuanto a la predicción de asociación de variables, se observa que para los estudiantes las dimensiones compromiso, motivación y satisfacción predicen de mejor forma la percepción de la gestión. En el caso de los docentes es la dimensión compromiso la que mejor predice la gestión. Al finalizar el estudio se proponen 2 modelos para enfrentar el proceso de gestión educativa tanto en estudiantes como docentes ligados a la educación de jóvenes y adultos.
