Book excerpt: Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Psychologie - Beratung und Therapie, Note: 1,7, Philipps-Universität Marburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In einem Seminar zum Thema „Sexueller Missbrauch“ im vergangenen Semester wurde auf eine Untersuchung von Dirk Bange aus dem Jahr 1992 Bezug genommen, in der er zu dem erschreckendem Ergebnis kam, dass in Deutschland etwa jedes vierte bis fünfte Mädchen und jeder zwölfte Junge sexuelle Gewalterfahrungen macht , wobei die Täter/ Täterinnen in zweidrittel der Fälle aus dem Lebensumfeld, dem sozialen Nahbereich der Opfer kommen. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, als Fachkraft im sozialen Bereich mit dieser Thematik konfrontiert zu werden, ist also sehr hoch und warf Fragen auf. Wie muss man in einer solchen Situation handeln? Auf welcher Grundlage schöpft man überhaupt einen Verdacht auf sexuellen Missbrauch? Welche möglichen Anzeichen gibt es hierfür? Wie kann man als pädagogische Fachkraft tätig werden und was ist zu beachten? Wenn ein solcher Verdacht besteht, ist häufig die Ratlosigkeit von professionellen Helfern und Helferinnen zu beobachten, die im Zusammenhang mit dieser Thematik entsteht. Aufgrund fehlender Kenntnis und der daraus resultierenden Unsicherheit scheint es nicht selten, als würden einige die möglichen Anzeichen übersehen bzw. fehldeuten, um sich nicht weiter mit diesem komplexen Thema beschäftigen zu müssen. Andere Kollegen hingegen handeln vielleicht überstürzt, da sie einen enormen Handlungsdruck verspürten. Doch weder Wegschauen noch unzulängliches Handeln kann einem betroffenen Kind helfen.[...] Ziel der Arbeit soll sein, der Thematik „Sexueller Missbrauch von Kindern“ in der Praxis angemessen begegnen zu können, indem das Wissen über diesen Komplex erweitert bzw. vertieft wird und sowohl Leitlinien im Umgang mit sexuellem Missbrauch, sowie mögliche Belastungen und Schwierigkeiten in der Beratungssituation angeführt werden. Nur so können Ängste bzw. Unsicherheiten seitens der pädagogischen Fachkräfte, die eine adäquate Hilfe für das betroffene Kind häufig verhindern, abgebaut und die Unterstützung, der das Kind bedarf, gewährleistet werden.
