Book excerpt: The author of this little book, Madame Marguerite Maury, is a lady of much experience in the teaching of Radiesthesia and in the practice of the art, particularly in its medical application. For many years she was a fully trained nurse and later took up massage in which she obtained conspicuously successful results. Some years ago, she happened to make the acquaintance of M. Louis Turenne, an engineer and a radiesthetist of great repute. Following a remarkable diagnosis of a case of eczema made by him, and its subsequent cure through homoeopathy, Madame Maury was persuaded by M. Turenne to take up the study of Radiesthesia, for he realised that she had a special aptitude in this direction. She developed her powers to the full and tells me that during the course of fifteen years she has carried out more than 70,000 diagnoses and made numerous locations for water and minerals. With the help of some collaborators she founded the College Radiesthesique Francais and drew up a course of instruction by correspondence which has been followed by more than 900 pupils. This series of lessons, to which a section on Medical Radiesthesia has been added, forms the substance of this book. Readers will see that Madame Maury who, previous to becoming a nurse, had studed physics in Vienna, is a firm believer in the purely physical origin of the radiesthetic phenomena, and some may think that her claims in this respect cannot always be justified. For instance, it is difficult to see how location on maps and diagrams, which is now a well-established fact, can be attributed to anything but some obscure stimulus from the sub- conscious mind. Madame Maury very rightly stresses the individual nature of the radiesthetic art, and anyone who has studied the subject from an objective point of view for many years will fully bear her out. However that may be, it is always an advantage for a novice to start on a definite system, though he may find later that he has to depart from it and develop a method better suited to his own personality. A book such as this which deals with Radiesthesia in its widest application and does not advocate unnecessary refinements in instruments and technique, should be of great value as an introduction to a science which is still in a state of evolution.

Book excerpt: In radiesthesics, each individual person works on their own and its answerable only to themselves, so that a radiesthologist may be compared to a self-employed master craftsman. It is said that three things make a master, namely "Knowledge, experience and motivation". One may ask whether every radiesthologist can meet this challenge. Anyone restricting their use of the dowsing rod or pendulum solely to look for springs of water would only be burdening themselves needlessly by absorbing information on factors of disturbance and methods of removing harmful rays etc. This book is not for them: however, if anyone wants to know how to get rid of harmful rays that cause disturbance in the places where they live and work, or if they want to decide for themselves about the effectiveness o ray-protection appliances and methods, then they cannot do without sound specialist knowledge. The advice of a radiesthologist on how to avoid ray disturbance by altering the layout of the room or the arrangement of the furniture etc. cannot in the long run meet the requirement for complete freedom from harmful rays, because fields of disturbance stemming from water-courses may build up and may appear and disappear depending on the level of the water table; and in addition, it is completely impossible to take into account the alterations in the influence of factors of disturbance all around us. In a flood, a tree offers hope of salvation, but in a fire, anyone would prefer to give a tree a wide berth. One may therefore well ask how any permanent and effective method can be created o avoiding rays that are invisible and in constant process of change. As there is no on single all-purpose answer to this problem, we can only say that it is possible to get rid of harmful rays - and that this is indeed so is borne out by the innumerable letters of thank received from many lands. This book is intended as a serious scientific work for radiesthologist, incidentally the first of its kind worldwide.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explores the interface that exists between the human energy field and the Universal Field of energy in which we live. It shows how these fields can be utilised for distant diagnosis and treatment. It also illustrates that the surest and most effective way to ameliorate a defect in any biological system, is to modulate the interacting and interdependent energy fields by way of the chakras. The same energy fields can be used to take photographs of distant objects, particularly the energy structures of living human tissues and pathological states existing in them. The vibratory patterns and potencies of homoeopathic remedies can also be drawn from the ether-fields and impregnated into neutral substances such as water or alcohol solutions which have a capacity for memory. Radionics is a healing art that links the physical world with the unseen worlds lying beyond the physical senses. Diagnostically it probes to the levels of causation of disease; therapeutically it is gentle and non-invasive.

Book excerpt: Odic force is a vital energy or life force that permeates all living plants, animals, and humans. The author was the first person to approach this force scientifically, having conducted hundreds of careful experiments. He worked with people who were sensitive enough to accurately detect the polarity of magnets because they could actually see it. These people also saw the human auraan energy field connected to the human body, plus detected an energy-related color spectrum that was linked to metals and minerals. This is a simplified version of a more advanced text, making it perfect for those wishing to grasp the subject.
