Toda esta secuencia en la que se da paso a los sistemas manuales y automáticos, que van a formar parte de la puesta en servicio, las operaciones llevadas a cabo, el tratamiento que sufren las redes hasta su propio funcionamiento, así como los aspectos que pueden resultar perniciosos, son expuestos en este manual de manera eminentemente didáctica, con el objetivo de ofrecer una lectura amena, atractiva y sencilla de aplicar, contribuyendo por tanto a que las redes alcancen mayor eficiencia. Los autores destacan que las soluciones propuestas nunca son únicas y cualquier alternativa puede llegar a ser viable tras un análisis técnico y riguroso que posibilite su uso. Además, este manual responde fielmente al contenido curricular que el RD1381/2008, de 1 de agosto determina para el Módulo Formativo MF 0608_2 titulado Puesta en Servicio y Operación de Redes de Distribución de Agua y Saneamiento, incardinado en el certificado de profesionalidad Montaje y mantenimiento de redes de agua dentro de la familia profesional de energía y agua.
