Download or read book Une Europe plus favorable à l'emploi written by and published by Editions L'Harmattan. This book was released on 1996-01-01 with total page 275 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

This book was released on 2019-12-18 with total page 15 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Download or read book Pour en finir avec le chômage written by Jean-Marie Albertini and published by Editions Milan. This book was released on 1997 with total page 63 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Vues de l'Europe d'en bas written by Catherine Pozzo di Borgo and published by Editions L'Harmattan. This book was released on 2005 with total page 304 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Synopsis International Integration and Labour Market Organisation by : Alberto Castro
Download or read book International Integration and Labour Market Organisation written by Alberto Castro and published by . This book was released on 1992 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume, the fourth joint publication of the International Working Party on Labour Market Segmentation, addresses the main theme of labour market research of the 1990s: the implications of the trend towards international economic integration, and in particular, the move towards a single market within Europe. The members of the Working Party who have contributed to this volume, do not separate the question of the formation of an economically integrated Europe from the issue of the social dimension in Europe. This volume stresses the need to understand the dynamic between the economic and social organization, if the full implications of the integration process are to be understood. The international team of contributors draws on the experience of the United States, along with the Eastern European bloc and the Intra-Eastern European Community, so that the issues they specifically address are illuminated in the more general context of the problems of international economic integration. Contains contributions and comparative research from members of the International Working Party on Labour Market Segmentation Focuses on the actions of U.S. and European multinationals' practices in Europe Draws together information using labor market segmentation theory

Book Synopsis The Extreme Right in France, 1789 to the Present by : Peter Davies
Download or read book The Extreme Right in France, 1789 to the Present written by Peter Davies and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2002-04-12 with total page 220 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Extreme Right in France, 1789 to the Present surveys the history of a fascinating but contentious political and intellectual tradition. Since 1789 the far right has been an important factor in French political life and in different eras has taken on a range of guises including traditionalism, ultra-royalism, radical nationalism, anti-Semitism and fascism. This book is structured around the five main phases of extreme right activity, and the author explores key questions about each: * Counter-revolution - what was the legacy of Joseph de Maistre's writings? * Anti-Third Republic protest - how was the 'new right' of the 1880s and 1890s different from the 'old right' of previous decades? * Inter-war fascism - how should we characterise the phenomenon of fascisme française? * Vichy - why did Pétain and Laval collaborate with the Nazis? * The Post-war far right - what is the relationship between Poujadism, Algérie Française and Le Pen's FN?

Book Synopsis Ethnic Minority Migrants in Britain and France by : Rahsaan Maxwell
Download or read book Ethnic Minority Migrants in Britain and France written by Rahsaan Maxwell and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2012-03-05 with total page 275 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book addresses why some ethnic minority migrant groups have better economic and political integration outcomes than others. The central claim is that social integration leads to trade-offs with economic and political integration. The logic behind this claim is that socially segregated groups may have difficulties interacting with mainstream society but will have more capacity for group mobilization. That mobilization can improve economic and political integration. In comparison, socially integrated groups may have greater capacity to interact with mainstream society but also less likelihood of developing significant group mobilization resources. As a result, this can limit their economic and political integration outcomes. Rahsaan Maxwell develops this argument with evidence from Britain and France, claiming that similar group-level dynamics exist despite numerous national-level contextual differences, and provides a brief extension of the argument to The Netherlands and the United States.
