Book excerpt: The three concepts mentioned in the title of this volume imply the contact between two or more literary phenomena; they are based on similarities that are related to a form of ‘travelling’ and imitation or adaptation of entire texts, genres, forms or contents. Transfer comprises all sorts of ‘travelling’, with translation as a major instrument of transferring literature across linguistic and cultural barriers. Transfer aims at the process of communication, starting with the source product and its cultural context and then highlighting the mediation by certain agents and institutions to end up with inclusion in the target culture. Reception lays its focus on the receiving culture, especially on critcism, reading, and interpretation. Translation, therefore, forms a major factor in reception with the general aim of reception studies being to reveal the wide spectrum of interpretations each text offers. Moreover, translations are the prime instrument in the distribution of literature across linguistic and cultural borders; thus, they pave the way for gaining prestige in the world of literature. The thirty-eight papers included in this volume and dedicated to research in this area were previously read at the ICLA conference 2016 in Vienna. They are ample proof that the field remains at the center of interest in Comparative Literature.

Demandez à votre enfant de lire ce qu'il peut, ce dont il se souvient... Lisez alors à haute voix le texte, les phrases du support de lecture concerné. Lisez ensuite un mot du texte et demandez à votre enfant de vous le montrer. Lisez une partie de la phrase ou du texte, arrêtez-vous puis demandez-lui d'indiquer l'endroit où vous avez cessé de lire. - Interrogez-le sur ce qu'il a compris. Demandez-lui éventuellement de lire à nouveau. En début d'année, reconnaître des mots isolés est un exercice difficile. Ne vous inquiétez pas si votre enfant met du temps à les identifier. N'hésitez pas à l'aider en orientant son attention sur des indices qu'il a déjà repérés (" Quelle est la première lettre de ce mot ? ", " o et u, ça fait quel son ? Alors, quel peut être ce mot ? "). Insistez sur la lecture des " mots outils " (le, la, un, de, sur...) qui apparaissent fréquemment dans les textes et sont difficiles à distinguer. Vous pouvez procéder de la même façon pour la lecture des albums. Deuxième étape, j'apprends le code. Les tableaux d'apprentissage du code ont pour but de faire repérer à l'enfant les correspondances entre le son qu'il entend et sa transcription écrite. Aussi, voit-on en haut de chaque tableau, une oreille qui indique ce que l'on entend et un œil qui précise ce que l'on voit. Petit à petit, votre enfant lira plus rapidement. Ne commettez pas l'erreur de lui faire lire les pages suivantes. Tout le travail de découverte, effectué en classe serait perturbé et votre enfant ne pourrait pas mettre en œuvre ses compétences de lecteur. Après ce travail de lecture, prenez plutôt le temps de lire " à deux " un autre album. Pour une meilleure réussite, parents et enseignants doivent être partenaires.
