Book excerpt: This is an open access book.Changes in law either from the meaning of normative substance, institutional, and legal culture are inevitably in line with the dynamics within various sectors of life society. Therefore, it is necessary to thoroughly discuss and analyze which sectors may have a significant impact on the business world and society today. By discussing comprehensively, comparatively and collaboratively, it is hoped that legal issues can be seen from various perspectives in the legal and social fields by finding fundamental problems in depth related to several topics of discussion, including in the telematics legal sector, natural resource management law, business legal culture, as well as the tourism sector. For this reason, APPTHI held a series of conferences in 3 cities to discuss and make it a meeting place for world law experts with law lecturers throughout Indonesia and invited lecturers from various countries, such as South Korea, India, Malaysia and Europe to take a part in this conference. The 1st APPTHI International Conference on Changing of Law (the series) is the first international conference series held in Indonesia by the Association of Indonesian Law College Leaders (APPTHI), inviting several legal experts from countries such as the USA, the Netherlands, Korea, Malaysia, India, as well as South Korea. This activity has 3 major themes each held in several cities, namely: in Jakarta which will be held at Trisakti University on 22 July 2023 with the theme Changing of Law in the digital era, while in Makassar it will take place at the Indonesian Muslim University/UMI) on July 24 2023 with the theme Changing of Law in the Energy sector and Natural Resources Management, as well as the last series of conferences in Bali on July 26 2023 at Warmadewa University, becoming a series of academic activities that have a broad spectrum and dimension of legal knowledge with various legal perspectives such as business law, corporate law, civil law, criminal law, intellectual property law, telematics law, agrarian law, environmental law, HTN/HAN etc. This event was carried out within the framework of the first round of the APPTHI international program which will continue to be held regularly every year. This program is also a form of implementation of various forms of international cooperation in several countries such as New York University, Utrecht University, National University of Malaysia, Hankuk University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University. In this event APPTHI collaborated with the international program organizer, PASQAPRO. For the activities of The First APPTHI International Conference on Changing Law, The Series, involving campuses as co-hosts in Jakarta (hosted by Trisakti University), including: Jakarta Islamic University, Universitas Suryakancana, cianjur, Lampung Mitra University, Palembang Law School STIHPADA, Islamic University Jakarta, Muhamadiyah University Jakarta, YARSI University, National University, Borobudur University, while co-hosted in Makassar (Host Indonesian Muslim University): Panca Bakti University, West Kalimantan, Sawerigading University, Christian University of Paulus, Makasar, Universitas Juanda, Bogor and Seventeen August University (UNTAG) Semarang, for Bali with the host university Warmadewa, assisted by co-hosts including: Caritas College of Law, Papua. Hopefully this conference will not only be a scientific forum for APPTHI members and various foreign partner universities by providing outputs in the form of indexed proceedings and journals, but also an event that will contribute thoughts in the field of law for the Indonesian government in conducting studies on legal changes positively as well as being a think tank for the formation of state laws and policies.

Download or read book Wisdom from Rural Java written by Sartini and published by UGM PRESS. This book was released on 2021-01-21 with total page 268 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This study illustrates the strong relationship between world views and ethical values that are embedded in the lives ofa group of people called wong pinter. Some notes on the results of the study show the following points. First, on the basis of the categories of worldviews studied (classification, causality, space, time, and self-others relation), it is found that the concept of classification is not strong enough. The concept of space is also not sufficiently patterned, in contrast to the findings of the concept of space on the Ainu people, the people of Bali and Yogyakarta. Wong pinter describes the concept of space in relation to the existence of non-human beings. The concept oftime is explained in more detail. Some of the views about time are intended to discipline and self-control. On the self-other concept, God becomes the most important element in His status as the Almighty. The selfis a common creature that interacts with other humans and non-human beings. Horizontally, the worldview of wong pinter pivots on the ethical elements of the relationship between God's creatures that synergize and create harmony so as to create a comfortable and peaceful life. Secondly, the basic concept of the worldview guides the wong pinter on the pattern of life both in society, self-control, keeping not to hurt others, and care about the hassles of others. Therefore, they are regarded as people who behave nobly and become role models in society. Thirdly, even though the wong pinterhas some abilities that are relatively similar to the abilities of the shamans (comrnon dukun) that have been mentioned by most researchers but the behavior of wong pinter is different from and even contradict the general characteristics of the dukun. Fourth, this study enriches the study of the concept of space, time, causality, and self-other relationships. This study also explicitly revise the theories that generalize the understanding and characteristics of dukun or wong pinter which has been widely associated with witchcraft, money, and worldly pragmatic goals.

Book Synopsis 21st Century Innovation in Music Education by : Kun Setyaning Astuti
Download or read book 21st Century Innovation in Music Education written by Kun Setyaning Astuti and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2019-11-27 with total page 550 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Music is an expression of feelings of the soul conveyed through the medium of sound. But not all sounds are music. It might be said that only an organised sound or series of sounds can be called music. Thus, music is connected to the eternal and constant flow and order of the universe, to the laws and rhythms of nature. It can also be said that musical order is comparable to the natural order of the universe. There are laws of a certain nature in the natural sciences and likewise in music there are structures and procedures, or even rules, that should be followed to produce beautiful music. The International Conference "Innovations for 21st Century Music Education and Research" provided a timely opportunity to take stock of the latest developments in music education and brought together educators, researchers and members of the broader community in a welcoming forum in which they were able to express theoretical and practical views, concepts, research results and principles to help support the further development of music education.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Poverty is a social problem that has never been discussed. Both in terms of the poverty rate, the impact it causes, the factors that cause it, to the alternatives to overcome it. The phenomenon of poverty is related to various dimensions of life, so that the problem of poverty becomes very complex. The problem of poverty requires multisectoral handling, it cannot be resolved only from one sector but requires a collaborative approach from various sectors in government as well as with the private sector and the community. Because poverty does not only concern the economic, education, health, infrastructure, but also social, cultural and even political issues. So that a multidimensional policy is needed with a coping strategy that involves many parties in an integrated manner. In fact, the government has made various efforts to reduce poverty, both at the national level and for districts and cities. Some of these efforts include opening job opportunities, providing direct assistance in the form of materials to the poor, as well as community empowerment as a preventive measure taken in order to develop community competencies and skills. Therefore, poverty reduction remains a focus in development and is a shared responsibility, not only the central government and local governments, but contributions and collaboration from various parties are needed. In the direction of a new life order, poverty reduction becomes a crucial topic to be addressed. The National Seminar on "Community Empowerment and Poverty Reduction Strategies" is a momentum to bring together various critical views and thoughts from various fields of science related to strategies that can be carried out in reducing poverty. It is hoped that this national seminar will produce an appropriate strategy in accelerating poverty reduction in Indonesia in general and in Bali in particular.
