An apparent suicide by a prominent attorney surfaces at the same time a trio of illegal immigrants are arrested while carrying narcotics into the state. The apparent suicide by one of the policemen involved in the thefts brings about an inquiry by a board which ascertains the identification of those involved. A direct connection between the thefts of drugs from the warehouse and the increased availability of this type of narcotics establishes the connection between the two cities. Undercover personnel in both cities are finally able to identify the main participants. As the investigation continues known criminals in Indio are connected with the operation while the persons heading up the organization in Detroit are difficult to identify. A fortunate discovery finally permits this and the case is brought to a surprise conclusion.
