Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I never thought I would ever experience the grandeur of the Sultanate of Oman. My eyes were treated to what I could only describe as popping eye candy. We sailed by some dramatic limestone cliffs that seemed to melt like cheese into the ocean. The sky was a rich hue of blue which mixed with the deep blue of the ocean and the many tones of ochre, gold and beige. This made for an orgasmic color ecstasy in my mind. The colors continued to enrich and enlighten as I was treated to such dramatically beautiful panoramas. I couldn't take it all in, the landscape was simply more glorious that I had ever experienced. This was Musandam Oman! Join me for this breathtaking installment of the Photographic Rendezvous Series. This latest edition includes over 100 stunning photographs along with photo captions in both English and Arabic.

Through an informant, British Agent Adam Munro learns that the situation is growing dangerously tense, with powerful forces in the USSR maneuvering for supremacy. But even as East and West conduct delicate talks, events spiral out of control and threaten to undo every step taken. The world’s largest oil tanker is hijacked by terrorists, and a Ukrainian “freedom fighter” is rescued in a bloody catastrophe on the Black Sea. Book Synopsis The Origins of Infamy by : Christian E. Barth
Download or read book The Origins of Infamy written by Christian E. Barth and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2009-05-15 with total page 286 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Based on a true story, "The Origins of Infamy" tells of Ted Bundy's alleged involvement in the murder of two coeds at the Jersey Shore on Memorial Day 1969. Speaking to his biographer on the eve of his execution, Bundy is offered the chance of clemency in exchange for a confession to his involvement in the unsolved deaths. Before learning what transpired that weekend two decades earlier, journalist Richard Larsen, author of "The Deliberate Stranger," is led on a psychological journey through the condemned murderer's past. From Bundy's own voice, Larsen learns the root causes motivating him to become America's most notorious serial killer. Beginning on Death Row at Florida State Penitentiary, then traveling back in time to Seattle, Philadelphia, New York City, and Ocean City, New Jersey, "The Origins of Infamy" vividly recreates a historical account of New Jersey's most famous cold case. "Barth's novel is a spellbinding reimagination of one of the more disturbing unsolved cold cases in local history. With hope, perhaps his work shall bring closure to this troubling mystery." -Fred Miller, Author of Ocean City: 1950-1980 (Images of America) "In this exciting true-crime thriller, Christian Barth puts you in the shoes of Ted Bundy and walks you through the 1969 New Jersey Parkway murders, which remain officially unsolved. Drawing on details of the crime, Barth develops a plausible scenario as to what really happened. Did Bundy do it? You be the judge."br> -Bill Kelly, author of 300 Years at the Point - A History of Somers Point, New Jersey
