Download or read book Numbers of the Lord written by Mark David and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2012-02-07 with total page 658 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Biblical numbers have spiritual meaning and this spiritual meaning can also be understood chronologically. How did the Wise Men, for example, know what the Star of Bethlehem meant when it appeared? Is there some formula to relate these numbers to time? The answer is yes. Biblical numbers are part of a brilliant system stating Gods blueprint of the history of His church and of the world. In some cases a code, utilizing the Golden Ratio, even dates the Biblical event recorded in the text in which the numbers are embedded: the birth of Christ for example. In other cases, the numbers project the time the events will occur and are chronological prophecies: the fall of Jerusalem to the Roman general Titus in 70 a.d. or the Moslems sacking New York City in 2001 (9/11). In all cases, this book elucidates the power of God to ordain Time in order to make the history of the world.

Download or read book Radical written by David Platt and published by Multnomah. This book was released on 2010-05-04 with total page 242 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: New York Times bestseller What is Jesus worth to you? It's easy for American Christians to forget how Jesus said his followers would actually live, what their new lifestyle would actually look like. They would, he said, leave behind security, money, convenience, even family for him. They would abandon everything for the gospel. They would take up their crosses daily... But who do you know who lives like that? Do you? In Radical, David Platt challenges you to consider with an open heart how we have manipulated the gospel to fit our cultural preferences. He shows what Jesus actually said about being his disciple--then invites you to believe and obey what you have heard. And he tells the dramatic story of what is happening as a "successful" suburban church decides to get serious about the gospel according to Jesus. Finally, he urges you to join in The Radical Experiment -- a one-year journey in authentic discipleship that will transform how you live in a world that desperately needs the Good News Jesus came to bring.

Download or read book The Lord's Prayer written by Eroni Tomasi and published by . This book was released on 2018-08-13 with total page 116 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this book, the authors uncovered a startling interpretation of the Lord's Prayer via an ancient, but well-known and well-tested mathematical method used by the Jews to study and interpret the Torah (the five books of Moses) and the Tanakh (the Jewish Bible). It is called gematria, which is a system of assigning a numerical value to each letter in an alphabet. The Jews and Greeks have their own gematriot or gematrias (plural of gematria) with well-accepted standard values. Using gematria within a mathematical framework based on the Scripture, the authors discovered the following 12 attributes of the Lord's Prayer: [1] When we pray the Lord's Prayer, the grace and peace we receive from the Father is multiplied or increased by the power of the Holy Spirit.[2] When we pray the Lord's Prayer, we acknowledge the sovereignty of the Father.[3] When we pray the Lord's Prayer, we proclaim our faith in the fulfillment of the will of His Father in His Son, Jesus Christ.[4] The Lord's Prayer is the foremost proclamation of faith in the fulfillment of the will of His Father in His Son, Jesus Christ.[5] When we pray the Lord's Prayer, we acknowledge the Father and His love for us.[6] When we pray the Lord's Prayer, we are led by the Holy Spirit to become more like Jesus Christ.[7] When we pray the Lord's Prayer, we acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the judge of humanity. [8] It is the will of the Father that we should pray the Lord's Prayer at the times acceptable to Him.[9] The Lord's Prayer is to be prayed daily at the prescribed times, namely, {10.35am,10.53am,1.35pm,1.53pm,3.15pm, 3.51pm, 5.13pm, 5.31pm}.[10] The Lord's Prayer, prayed daily at the prescribed times, presents our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.[11] At the prescribed times, we can accompany the Lord's Prayer with our own personal prayers of thanksgiving and requests. [12] The Lord's Prayer is the covenant of the Redeemer of Isaiah 59, Jesus Christ. They concluded by showing that the Cross of Jesus Christ is the sign of the covenant of the Redeemer of Isaiah 59.
