La energía nuclear puede y debe ser, juntamente con las renovables, un elemento imprescindible en esta transición, puesto que es capaz de producir enormes cantidades de energía con un impacto mínimo en el medioambiente. Fernández Ordóñez demuestra que las críticas a la energía nuclear se basan en mitos, y que cualquier intento de descarbonización generalizada de las economías será un fracaso sin ella. Ahora que hemos despertado del ingenuo sueño de un mundo de energía barata y abundante que dimos por sentado y nunca pensamos que podríamos perder, sólo podemos decir sí a la fuente energética más potente, limpia, fiable y segura que existe.
