Download or read book Soul's Journey written by Sam Yau and published by . This book was released on 2021-02-10 with total page 196 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For more than 20 years, I had been on a journey of personal and spiritual growth. I always knew that I am a spirit. With Ryan's death, and my desire to be close to him, simply knowing that I am a soul was no longer enough. One day, a question was stuck in my mind that would not go away. What if I live as a soul in the human clothes, rather than as a human who has a soul. That pondering set in motion a startling inversion of priority. Asking my soul that question with persistence and commitment catapulted me into a surprising journey that I could not have imagined just a few years ago. I received clear messages from Ryan and uncanny sources to write poems. I had never written a serious poem in my life. But my soul's whisper was unceasing. With a series of synchronicities and chance encounters, new friends became the angels in my poetry journey. The calling was unmistakable. I surrendered. My verses, together with the love from my friends and family, have healed me. My poetic musings clarified, distilled, deepened and ingrained the essence of past spiritual experiences onto my being. As I sculpted my poems, my poems were sculpturing me at the same time. Writing poetry has become a most joyous and uplifting spiritual practice for me. The soul's journey is one that discovers the true nature of the Divine and each soul is love itself. Peeling off all layers of reality, only awareness and love remain. My poems have healed and transformed me, by sharing them I hope they will heal and inspire others.

Book Synopsis Come, Walk With Me by : Edith Adrian Matthies
Download or read book Come, Walk With Me written by Edith Adrian Matthies and published by FriesenPress. This book was released on 2018-01-04 with total page 246 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This writing began as a light, retrospective narration walking through remembrances common to many who grew up in prairie farming communities in the last seventy years. The walk continued through life’s experiences which were, in turn, challenging or hilarious, poignant or bitter, and probably not highly unusual. It became apparent to the writer that a benevolent Presence had been the constant companion in the journey. In order to overcome inherent obstinacy, the Spirit of God nudged, pulled, coaxed and even pushed as was needed. The writer was able to invariably choose joy in the culmination of her life’s experiences because of the deep love she experienced from her Heavenly Father. As a result, this writing evolved from a collection of vignettes into a spiritual biography written with introspective vulnerability for the enjoyment and contemplation of her children, her grandchildren and all those who were part of her journey.

The Company began the mission from rumor. It was past two thirty a.m., when the helicopter made an approach for a landing on the high mountain plateau. The June sun lay just below the lighted horizon on the mountain peaks to the east. The new moon had grown pale and white in the light of early dawn. When they came closer, I could see that she had green eyes that sparkled unusually bright. “I made the recording for the security system at your suggestion, father,” she replied quickly. For some reason I felt relief knowing the older gentleman was her father. He said. “Are you interested in the whole story?” “Well, yes, I answered. I am interested in the unique aspects of the project.” That is what the captain wanted, the whole story, if there was a story. I had a duty to perform and I owed my loyalty to the company. It was not my place to make any judgments. I intuitively felt certain the project people were not subversive. “Project-H is unique of all government projects. Research involves electricity of every kind and no other kind of energy.” The project leader said.

This book was released on 2022-06-22 with total page 280 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Through an ethnographic study of state museums in Turkey, this book explores the negotiation processes of exhibiting the competing pasts and binaries of “Turkishness”. The study focuses on Anıtkabir and Topkapı Palace Museum as two important state museums that represent the Republican and Ottoman pasts of Turkey. Tracing their contested exhibition making processes, it argues that binaries of “Turkishness” are not irreconcilable; rather they are deliberated, negotiated, and transformed in the everyday practices of museum bureaucracies.

Built in 1628 at the Koto-in temple in the precincts of Daitoku-ji monastery in Kyoto, the Shoko-ken is a late medieval daime sukiya Japanese tea-house. It is attributed to Hosokawa Tadaoki, also known as Hosokawa Sansai, an aristocrat and daimyo military leader, and a disciple and friend of Sen no Riky?. This work is an extremely thorough look at one of the few remaining tea-houses of the Momoyama era tea-masters who studied with Sen no Rikyu. Many facts and minute observations have been brought together to give even the reader unfamiliar with Tea a sense of the presence which the tea-house still manifests.
