Download or read book Welcome Niqynu written by Greg J. Delle and published by Dorrance Publishing. This book was released on 2015-11-30 with total page 222 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The author Greg J. Delle has not yet completed his lifetime study of natural humanity and manipulated governed humanity. He and his childhood giraffe friend (Niqynu) travel back through time to when Delle was one year old, to the present, and to the future. Delle depicts how our great inventors, writers, and a host of gifted legends became successful. Despite a system of scarce schooling and academics, they still prevailed. Delle compares this with current academic standards and how academics can affect a child’s creativity. He asks what good are competition and the disease of believing you have to be number one. The twelve hours a day of study and homework a child has – does it teach each and every child to be better than one another? Instead, it would be better to have schools that teach parenting and help people respect and be polite to one another. Delle and Niqynu study the history of religion and how it has affected and continues to affect modern civilization. Of course, God is energy shared by everyone. Delle and Niqynu studied the laws of the Bible, modern school bureaucracy, and the government system - its laws, rules, regulations, fines, penalties, and restrictions. This arduous squeezing system comes down on parents and poor people, to force their children to fit the modern moral mold. Delle and Niqynu question the behavior of adolescents and adults. The rule of sexual societal behavior needs to be set free. Delle and Niqynu never stop asking questions because it is their destiny to help prevent child abuse. Just look at all of the mental and physically abused children. His questions are still unanswered. Come and join them on their quest.
Book Synopsis It Just Doesn't Get Any Better Than This by : Brad F. Simmons
Download or read book It Just Doesn't Get Any Better Than This written by Brad F. Simmons and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2008-12-22 with total page 120 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There were black bulb-looking plungers, brown bowl-shaped plungers, yellow elliptical-shaped ones, some with short handles and some with longer handles, some rubber, some plastic. Wow, do they have any with a graphite shaft? Any treated lumber handles?? Hmmmm, I wonder which one of these will work the best on my toilet? Must I take a clay imprint of the commode bottom? Now I was confused unsure if any particular style would fit better, or create more suction and push versus another. As I stood there studying the design of each one I thought how great it would be if I could try them out. You know, kind of like kicking the tires on a car before you buy it. Doubt I could test one and return it, just didnt seem like I should ask. So instead upon impulse I took won of the basic models and jabbed it at my feet onto the floor. Yep, it stuck, pretty dang good, this one could work. As I tugged on the plungers handle I noticed the rough floor and thought to myself, they need to finish repairing these vinyl tiles pretty soon. It was at this point that I hear someone from several aisles over yell across the store, NO, wait!!
Book Synopsis It Can't Get Better Than This by : Randy O'Neal
Download or read book It Can't Get Better Than This written by Randy O'Neal and published by Fulton Books, Inc.. This book was released on 2024-07-02 with total page 105 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Currently, there seems to be a growing nostalgia for simpler times, even a push to return to some of the "old ways." Recent TV shows and books evidence this fact. So many of Randy's stories center around rural life--hard work in the corn and cotton fields, sawmills, turpentine woods, family dramas, church revivals, births, deaths, school days, and numerous other aspects of community life. I am certain that any person who grew up anywhere in rural America in the 1940s, 1950s, and even 1960s would have stories very similar; only the place and names would change. His writings arrive at a perfect time when interest is high to preserve things of days gone by. Randy's many family stories and musings will provide all of us, far and wide, with many hours of joyous and inspiring reading.--Dr. Larry V. Turner

Book Synopsis From Behind the Counter by : Easton Lee
Download or read book From Behind the Counter written by Easton Lee and published by . This book was released on 1998 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Easton Lee was born to a Chinese father and a Jamaican mother of mixed racial heritage in the 1930s at Wait-abit, Trelawny, Jamaica. The family lived in several villages and towns as his parents 'moved shop' in search of a livelihood. Life was different then - no television, no telephones, inadequate road systems, no radio. The life of rural communities revolved and evolved around the church, the school and the village shop. The majority of these shops were owned and operated by Chinese families. Lee recalls that many evenings during his elementary schooldays were spent under the counter of his parents' shop so he could be near to his mother as she attended to customers and helped him with homework. Customers, unaware of his presence, often discussed the village happenings and their private business in the most intimate details, giving him insight and information not otherwise available. His mother who was born at the run of the century fed him with stories and legends she had gleaned from her older relatives. An avid reader and a great storyteller, she often entertained her children and their friends with fascinating tales she had read or had heard in her childhood. His attention later turned to his Chinese heritage with his father and other Chinese relatives providing the link to that source. He found to his amazement that those teachings were not all that different from those of other sources, and in some instances were identical. This lively interest in and knowledge of Jamaican folklore which began in his schooldays was broadened and enhanced when, in adulthood, he went to work with Jamaica Social Welfare Commission, now the Social Development Commission, in a job which took him to every corner of the country. I could not get past the darkness, the eight ball. I was doomed falling deeper and deeper into the abyss. Then I saw Jesus reaching out to me. I knew he was my only means of salvation.
