Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When I first had the thought for this book one of my reasons for writing it was so I could entitle it the "You do Know you Will Get Wet" tour, yeah sad I know but it made me smile. In the end this pithy title had to go because it was just too easy a target to hit. Everyone goes on about the rain in Ireland whilst missing the point that if it didn't rain so much it wouldn't be quite so bloody beautiful, and beautiful it is. In fact we toured the entire length of the Wild Atlantic Way and only got wet twice, and on neither occasion did it rain hard enough to get past our skin. Anyway if you are that bothered about the rain you wouldn't own a motorbike in the first place now would you? The other thing that has become something of a cliché is how friendly the people are. I can confirm that cliché is, in actual fact, true. Look if you want a book telling you where to go, what must see places you have to visit and a detailed itinerary for every minute of the day on your tour put this down now because this isn't the book for you. Sure there are places mentioned in here and it will explain how we filled each day of our tour around the coast of Ireland but that was our tour, yours should and will be different. One thing that will be the same though, unavoidable in fact, is that you will come home staggered by the sheer beauty of this Island and the welcome of its people. Oh yeah one final point, the pictures in here are printed in black and white (paperback edition, the kindle edition is in colour and has far more pictures) to keep the cost down for you. I mean why spend a fortune on a book just to get colour pictures when you are going to see them in the flesh? And you better go my mate or you will be missing out on one amazing road trip, seriously.
