Book Synopsis More Than Existing by : Corrie Thorne
Download or read book More Than Existing written by Corrie Thorne and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2020-07-28 with total page 103 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: More Than Existing is a story of love and healing as Corrie shares her struggles and pain narrated through the eyes and memories of the woman she is today along with the Divine channels that walk alongside her. Through learning to revisit and truly see through the eyes of others, including the so called “enemies” she released the energy tied to being a victim, and instead transmuted the trauma and pain, into an energy of love. She is no longer defined by the past, and has learned to truly see her worth, value, and importance of establishing clear boundaries as she now walks a path of More Than Existing. The journey from arriving here in human form to becoming the woman she is today has not been easy, but it has been worth every step. Readers will see themselves walking through their own stories, looking through new eyes, and applying the wisdom and knowledge shared by Corrie in learning to take ownership and responsibility for their life. This is a healing journey, when one allows themself to receive the messages and blessings embedded within every page. Corrie has developed a complete self-actualization coaching program based on the principles of learning to live a life of More Than Existing. Her deepest wish is for readers to know that they are worthy and deserve to find happiness and joy, by first understanding that this is found within each of us and not within the approval or acceptance so often sought from others.

Book Synopsis Learning to Understand Remote Sensing Images by : Qi Wang
Download or read book Learning to Understand Remote Sensing Images written by Qi Wang and published by MDPI. This book was released on 2019-09-30 with total page 426 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: With the recent advances in remote sensing technologies for Earth observation, many different remote sensors are collecting data with distinctive properties. The obtained data are so large and complex that analyzing them manually becomes impractical or even impossible. Therefore, understanding remote sensing images effectively, in connection with physics, has been the primary concern of the remote sensing research community in recent years. For this purpose, machine learning is thought to be a promising technique because it can make the system learn to improve itself. With this distinctive characteristic, the algorithms will be more adaptive, automatic, and intelligent. This book introduces some of the most challenging issues of machine learning in the field of remote sensing, and the latest advanced technologies developed for different applications. It integrates with multi-source/multi-temporal/multi-scale data, and mainly focuses on learning to understand remote sensing images. Particularly, it presents many more effective techniques based on the popular concepts of deep learning and big data to reach new heights of data understanding. Through reporting recent advances in the machine learning approaches towards analyzing and understanding remote sensing images, this book can help readers become more familiar with knowledge frontier and foster an increased interest in this field.

Book Synopsis Purchasing Submission by : Philip Hamburger
Download or read book Purchasing Submission written by Philip Hamburger and published by Harvard University Press. This book was released on 2021-09-07 with total page 337 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From a leading constitutional scholar, an important study of a powerful mode of government control: the offer of money and other privileges to secure submission to unconstitutional power. The federal government increasingly regulates by using money and other benefits to induce private parties and states to submit to its conditions. It thereby enjoys a formidable power, which sidesteps a wide range of constitutional and political limits. Conditions are conventionally understood as a somewhat technical problem of “unconstitutional conditions”—those that threaten constitutional rights—but at stake is something much broader and more interesting. With a growing ability to offer vast sums of money and invaluable privileges such as licenses and reduced sentences, the federal government increasingly regulates by placing conditions on its generosity. In this way, it departs not only from the Constitution’s rights but also from its avenues of binding power, thereby securing submission to conditions that regulate, that defeat state laws, that commandeer and reconfigure state governments, that extort, and even that turn private and state institutions into regulatory agents. The problem is expansive, including almost the full range of governance. Conditions need to be recognized as a new mode of power—an irregular pathway—by which government induces Americans to submit to a wide range of unconstitutional arrangements. Purchasing Submission is the first book to recognize this problem. It explores the danger in depth and suggests how it can be redressed with familiar and practicable legal tools.

Book Synopsis Structural Reliability Analysis and Prediction by : Robert E. Melchers
Download or read book Structural Reliability Analysis and Prediction written by Robert E. Melchers and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2017-10-16 with total page 528 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Structural Reliability Analysis and Prediction, Third Edition is a textbook which addresses the important issue of predicting the safety of structures at the design stage and also the safety of existing, perhaps deteriorating structures. Attention is focused on the development and definition of limit states such as serviceability and ultimate strength, the definition of failure and the various models which might be used to describe strength and loading. This book emphasises concepts and applications, built up from basic principles and avoids undue mathematical rigour. It presents an accessible and unified account of the theory and techniques for the analysis of the reliability of engineering structures using probability theory. This new edition has been updated to cover new developments and applications and a new chapter is included which covers structural optimization in the context of reliability analysis. New examples and end of chapter problems are also now included.

Book Synopsis Additive Manufacturing of Aerospace Composite Structures by : Rani Elhajjar
Download or read book Additive Manufacturing of Aerospace Composite Structures written by Rani Elhajjar and published by SAE International. This book was released on 2017-05-20 with total page 94 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Additive Manufacturing of Aerospace Composite Structures: Fabrication and Reliability introduces the reader to the current state of technologies involved in processing and design of polymer-reinforced fiber composites using additive manufacturing's automated fiber placement methods, through ten seminal SAE International papers. Currently, the material layup strategy in terms of process selection and manufacturability is usually not prioritized in the design phase. Engineers do not have a good way to see how their design choices can affect the manufacturing process beyond their initial structural-level considerations. The result is typically a large amount of experimental testing necessary to qualify the materials and structures typified in the classical building-block approach. Such an environment makes mistakes difficult to solve and, should redesign be required, obtaining reliable information is hard to piece together. Additive Manufacturing of Aerospace Composite Structures: Fabrication and Reliability approaches the question of quality in these structures from a hands-on, solution-driven perspective.
