Das Problem wurde von den Opfern aus Peinlichkeit totgeschwiegen - wer outet sich schon gerne als von allen Geächteter – über eingreifendes Lehrpersonal konnte kaum einer berichten. Zeigt sich also unsere Schulrealität gegenteilig zur anfangs zitierten gesetzlichen Seite? Sind Druck, psychischer Stress, Demütigungen, ständiges Anpöbeln, Lächerlichmachen und Abwerten von Mitschülern und Mitschülerinnen8 untereinander in Schulen heute an der Tagesordnung? Wie verhält es sich mit dem Umgangston, ist er wirklich angefüllt mit Beleidigungen, Bedrohungen sowie Ausdrücken aus der Fäkal- und Analsprache? Schnell war festzustellen, dass zu dem Thema Gewalt, Aggression und Mobbing an Schulen heute zwar etliche Studien existieren9. Dennoch wird gerade das Problem „Mobbing unter Schülern“ oftmals nicht (als schwerwiegend) erkannt oder als alltägliche Reibereien unter Schülern verharmlost. Auch mangelt es immer noch an konkreten praktischen Maßnahmen, wie Lehrer zusammen mit ihren Klassen an das Thema herangehen können. Fertigkeiten, die Kinder und Jugendliche erwerben müssen, um ihre wütenden und aggressiven Impulse beherrschen zu lernen und befriedigende Beziehungen zu anderen aufnehmen und aufrechterhalten zu können, werden nicht eingeübt. Fähigkeit und Bereitschaft, konstruktives, friedfertiges Konfliktlöseverhalten zu praktizieren, werden selten vermittelt.

Olweus 2006, S.32). Seit etwa zwei Jahrzehnten aber steht Mobbing aktiv in der öffentlichen Diskussion, da die Problematik in der Schule scheinbar immer mehr zunimmt (vgl. ebd., S.28), denn Lehrer1 und Eltern berichten immer häufiger von ernsten Vorfällen, welche starke psychische und zum Teil auch physische Probleme nach sich ziehen. Mittlerweile wird Mobbing als eine radikale und "besonders problematische Gewaltform an Schulen wahrgenommen" (Schubarth 2010, S.57). Erst in den 1990er Jahren wurde der Gewaltbegriff erweitert und man fasste nicht mehr nur Aggressionen darunter (vgl. ebd., S.55). Seit den 2000er Jahren zählt insbesondere Mobbing zu den Gewaltformen, die an Schulen erforscht werden (vgl. ebd.). Diese Arbeit soll dazu beitragen, das facettenreiche Phänomen genau zu analysieren und ein geeignetes, bereits vorerprobtes Instrument für Schulen zu entwickeln, mit welchem aufgezeigt werden kann, inwiefern die Lehrkräfte an einer Schule die möglichen Präventionsmaßnahmen kennen und bewerten. Mobbing ist eine moderne Form von Gewalt an Schulen, welche besonders zugenommen hat (vgl. Schubarth 2010, S.58). Deshalb sollten Schulen auch zunehmend bemüht sein, gegen Mobbingprozesse anzukämpfen. Mein Ziel ist also erreicht, wenn Schulen durch dieses Instrument die Schwächen bezüglich der Prävention von Mobbing erkennen können und im nächsten Schritt verbesserte Maßnahmen an der Schule ergreifen können, um aktiv gegen Mobbing vorzubeugen. Daher bin ich letztlich zu der folgenden Fragestellung der vorliegenden Arbeit gekommen: "Mobbing unter Jugendlichen an deutschen Schulen: Ursachen, Folgen und Präventionsmöglichkeiten".
