Dabei wird auf die ursprüngliche Definition des traditionellen Mobbings nach Olweus (1994) eingegangen und durch die Adaption auf das Cybermobbing kritisch hinterfragt. Um die Handlungsabsichten hinter Cybermobbingangriffen näher zu durchleuchten, werden die Motive der Cybertäter dargestellt und analysiert. Ebenso werden die verschiedenen Opferprofile dargelegt, um zu verdeutlichen, welche unterschiedliche Merkmale in dem Cybermobbingprozess vorzufinden sind. Nach den theoretischen Grundlagen folgt die Umsetzung auf die Möglichkeiten der Intervention und Prävention, sowie der Einbezug der Eltern. Innerhalb der Diskussion wird der Einbezug eines Schulfachs erörtert und die angebotenen Maßnahmen seitens der Institution Schule angesprochen.
