They came to America in 1753 and 1764 settling in Pennsylvania. David Turnipseed was born in Virginia in 1800. He was probably a son of Jacob and Magdaline Turnipseed of Pendleton Co., Virginia. Family members live in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and elsewhere.
