Part Four, it is hoped, will bring a modicum of comfort and spiritual strength to the old. In the remaining sections, it is desired that all classes and ages among the readers may find an uplifting and otherwise beneficial influence, as the stanzas are reviewed. A few of the productions have been used in song. May our Father, our blessed Saviour, and the Holy Spirit so favor the collection as a whole, that the results shall be for the good of mankind and the glory of God. Some one has said that the better portion of a life in this world, consists of its little nameless and unnumbered acts of kindness and love.
