Une bibliographie et une liste des institutions se préoccupant de l'enfance et de la famille complètent utilement les articles de fond. Un an après la parution de L'état de l'enfance en France, réalités et difficultés, il semblait nécessaire de poursuivre le travail commencé en approfondissant l'un des problèmes sociaux les plus contemporains.
