Book Synopsis Victor Bertolami's Legend and Musical, The Innocent Saints by : Victor Bertolami
Download or read book Victor Bertolami's Legend and Musical, The Innocent Saints written by Victor Bertolami and published by Strategic Book Publishing. This book was released on 2024-05-20 with total page 32 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Matthew 19:14-15, the Lord Jesus said to all of us, “Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them; for such is the kingdom of heaven. And He laid His hands on them and departed from there.” This simplified story about The Children’s Crusade was discovered by accident when the author was conducting a small dissertation on the innocent saints, or what historically was the fourth crusade in the year 1212. The name of the young pilgrim and crusader was Stephen, who had a dream about leading the crusade back to the Holy Land. The ten-year-old was persuaded and directed by an angel. Stephen accepted the mission and took it to the streets. A multitude of children, other Christian believers, and poor people followed him to northern Africa. They were taken gracefully to Jerusalem by a squad of templars and other orthodox believers, but were finally stopped and put to the test for their beliefs and perseverance. All of them never recanted their strong faith. Today we get a clear message about resilience and the strong desires that fueled The Children’s Crusade, creating a foundation for our deep and innermost Christian values.

Download or read book Around the Year, Once Upon a Time Saints written by Ethel Pochocki and published by Bethlehem Books. This book was released on 2009-03-01 with total page 250 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ethel Pochocki, whimsically and unforgettably, presents a new set of heavenly friends to readers young and old in this third collection of Once Upon a Time Saints stories. Beginning in the dark of December, the start of the Church Year, there are stories and poems for each month, all bursting with saintly--not to mention angelic--deeds and happenings. Each tale or verse--whether of mystical apparitions in a tiny Irish village or of friars who float in the air or of entire countries single-handedly converted to Christianity--makes it quite plain that heaven doesn't keep to its place at all, but is happily determined to spill over into earthly life--here, there and . . . all around the year.
