Book Synopsis Vision to Reality by : Curtis L. Jenkins
Download or read book Vision to Reality written by Curtis L. Jenkins and published by Morgan James Publishing. This book was released on 2022-03-01 with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Entrepreneurs who are facing challenges with growing their businesses often face the same issues that impede their growth. Many entrepreneurs believe that to grow their businesses, they must work harder and harder. They overlook the importance of the team, the financials, and a solid plan that must be executed and adjusted on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. They don’t understand the concept of working “on the business” because they are too often working – harder and harder – “in the business”, creating another job for themselves instead of rising to leadership and orchestrating a well-run business. Vision to Reality provides a simple set of steps to help entrepreneurs realize their vision for their business and “clear the fog” for everyone involved to get on board with executing the vision. The goal of Vision to Reality is to help entrepreneurs clear the fog for themselves and their business, giving them confidence that they can tackle problems head-on despite the problems appearing insurmountable. It is unique and appealing because it introduces a new opportunity, using simple but effective foundational principles and tools often overlooked by entrepreneurs in their quest for business success.
Book Synopsis La voie de l'excellence académique by : Philip G. Altbach
Download or read book La voie de l'excellence académique written by Philip G. Altbach and published by World Bank Publications. This book was released on 2012-01-27 with total page 350 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. The Future of Africa Energy and Doing Deals. This book was released on 2012-05-01 with total page 256 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Building Better Health Care Leadership for Canada explains the development and implementation of the Executive Training in Research Application (EXTRA) program. Managed and funded by the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation in partnership with the Canadian Medical Association, the Canadian Nursing Association, and the Canadian College of Health Care executives, EXTRA is a two-year national fellowship program that uses the principles of adult learning theory as well as practical projects to educate senior health care leaders in making more consistent use of research evidence in their management roles. Fellows apply the theory learned in residency sessions and educational activities to projects within their home organizations. The authors identify the imperative for better use of evidence, outline the core elements of the curriculum, and capture the real-world experience of regional leaders and fellows involved in making specific changes informed by research-based evidence within their organization. Book Synopsis Peace, Security and Post-conflict Reconstruction in the Great Lakes Region of Africa by : Tukumbi Lumumba-Kasongo
Download or read book Peace, Security and Post-conflict Reconstruction in the Great Lakes Region of Africa written by Tukumbi Lumumba-Kasongo and published by African Books Collective. This book was released on 2017-11-27 with total page 392 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Great Lakes region of Africa is characterized by protest politics, partial democratization, political illegitimacy and unstable economic growth. Many of the countries that are members of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) which are: Burundi, Angola, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Zambia, have experienced political violence and bloodshed at one time or another. While a few states have been advancing electoral democracy, environmental protection and peaceful state building, the overall intensity of violence in the region has led to civil wars, invasion, genocide, dictatorships, political instability, and underdevelopment. Efforts to establish sustainable peace, meaningful socio-economic development and participatory democracy have not been quite successful. Using various methodologies and paradigms, this book interrogates the complexity of the causes of these conflicts; and examines their impact and implications for socio-economic development of the region. The non-consensual actions related to these conflicts and imperatives of power struggles supported by the agents of savage capitalism have paralysed efforts toward progress. The book therefore recommends new policy frameworks within regionalist lenses and neo-realist politics to bring about sustainable peace in the region.

This book was released on 2018-01-01 with total page 56 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Words of a Leader: Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan” was issued in Arabic and translated into various languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Hindi and Italian. The book, which was issued in conjunction with the celebration of the birth centenary of the Late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and “The Year of Zayed”, contains selected quotes by Sheikh Zayed that reflect the foundations upon which he established his rule, as well as the principles and values on which his vision to build and develop the United Arab Emirates was founded. Among his most notable principles is his belief that investing in the people is far more important than investing in buildings and material life, and that society’s development must include all aspects of life, such as urbanization, economy, social life, culture and all kinds of development. He also called for proper use of resources and wealth and advocated openness to modern science. Through many of Sheikh Zayed’s quotes and sayings, the book reveals how deep he was intellectually, and how diverse and rich his vision was, and shows how he was interested in all groups of society and keen to address and provide advice to everyone, particularly the youth, whom he always considered an important contributor to the future and success of this nation. Sheikh Zayed focused on encouraging the youth on every occasion and motivating them to work harder and more creatively. Moreover, he always advocated for respecting women and providing them with equal opportunities in all aspects of life.
Book Synopsis Ezekiel’s Vision Accounts as Interrelated Narratives by : Janina Maria Hiebel
Download or read book Ezekiel’s Vision Accounts as Interrelated Narratives written by Janina Maria Hiebel and published by Walter de Gruyter GmbH & Co KG. This book was released on 2015-06-16 with total page 415 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ezekiel is one of the best-structured books in the Old Testament. It is commonly recognized that the strongly interrelated vision accounts (Ez 1:1–3:15; 8–11; 37:1–14; 40–48) contribute greatly to this impression of unity. However, there is a marked lacuna in publications focusing on the vision accounts in Ezekiel as an interconnected text corpus. The present study combines redaction-critical analysis with literary methods that are typically used in a synchronic approach. Drawing on the paradigm of Fortschreibung, it is the first to present a united redaction history that takes into account the growing interconnections and dependencies between the vision accounts. Building on these results, the second part follows the development of selected themes, such as the relationships between characters, the roles of intermediate figures and anthropological and theological implications, throughout the stages of redaction. The study thus represents an important step towards an understanding of the complex redaction history of the book of Ezekiel, and indeed of its theology. The combination of diachronic and synchronic methods makes it relevant for scholars of both directions and is itself a methodological statement.

This book was released on 2019-03-04 with total page 609 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Book Synopsis Réflexions Stratégiques Sur Haïti by : Luc Rémy
Download or read book Réflexions Stratégiques Sur Haïti written by Luc Rémy and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2013 with total page 503 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Exercer Un Leadership Authentique en Période de Transition written by Kerry A. Bunker and published by Center for Creative Leadership. This book was released on 2005 with total page 115 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Organizations today are awash in change. Managing change requires leaders to focus simultaneously on managing the business and providing effective leadership to the people. More often than not, it is the focus on the people side that loses out. The purpose of this book is to help leaders determine how to choose and move among a variety of managerial approaches - to help them see what's working, what's not working, and what's missing. In this way, leaders can more clearly assess their impact and learn how to meet the demands of both managing the business and leading the people.
