Excerpt: ...it as yet, but God knew His own purpose and the best way to effect it, and He placed them under these commands that they might be trained. So with the command to pour out the blood upon the earth. No doubt in time the reason for the command would be forgotten, if it was ever understood, but taken with the system of the law, entering as it did into their daily life as a Divine command, it would create, or at least help to preserve, the impression of a life lost that was to be restored, and to stimulate their hope for the coming of the Messias who should restore all things. These three laws with the moral and spiritual principles that underlay them, and which were to be produced by them, were laid down by God for His people from the Fall to the Incarnation. Then on the eve of the Passion as He sat with His disciples at the last supper, He took bread and broke it and said, "This is My Body," and He took wine and poured it out saying, "This is My Blood of the new Covenant which shall be shed for you and for many unto the remission of sins; drink ye all of it." And His disciples, brought up as they had been under the law, would have looked amazed. Drink the Blood. Why, the Blood is the life, and the law forbade them to drink it. But the time had come; the years of waiting were at an end. The woman's seed was there to give back in all its fulness the life that had been forfeited by disobedience. "For this is the testimony that God hath given unto us eternal life, and this Life is in His Son; He that hath the Son hath Life, and He that hath not the Son hath not Life." "Except therefore ye eat My flesh and drink My blood, ye have no life in you." Regenerate man received that indwelling Presence of God to...

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is a guide to a loving and healthy life and world. We all want to have this kind of life (physically and spiritually), so we should know the true laws that guide us to achieve the life and evolvement God meant for us to have. Universal Spiritual Laws (USL) are the unbreakable God given laws that created and govern both realms of our existence. This book presents the primary USL (Love) and numerous secondary laws that all directly relate to the primary law. Over many generations, unfortunately, mankind has replaced God’s USL with their own self-serving, controlling, ego and greed based laws, leaving the world in the condition it is today. The USL were given to me by a highly evolved Goddess of Motherhood, Mercy and Compassion, Quan Yin (see depiction on back cover) through an ordained minister and a very evolved and gifted certified medium, Rev. Beverly Burdick-Carey. The spiritual source by-passes the human negative thinking, ego and desire for power and control and gives only TRUTH. Your thoughts, words and deeds, whether positive or negative, cannot escape USL and determine our physical and spiritual life and evolvement which is our purpose here on earth. Since we create our own life’s path, follow the USL in a positive way to avoid having to repeat needed life lessons and speed your evolvement and have a more ideal life. How you follow the USL is your choice. It is also extremely important to know and understand that WE ARE ALL A PART OF GOD not APART FROM GOD and GOD IS ALL and LOVE. Good health is very important in life and with forty years of medical and spiritual study and practice, I have learned that our life's path and health are created by our own thoughts, words, deeds and beliefs. Therefore, I chose to briefly cover the healing aspects of each USL to help you improve your health and healing. Use the knowledge, wisdom and truths given to me that comprises this book to better your physical and spiritual evolvement, healing and life. You can summarize this book in three words, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and TRUTH, but you need to learn, study and follow the USL to spiritually evolve and benefit from them. Know the truth and truth will set you free. Keep an open mind and heart and start with small steps and I wish you Love and Light.

This book was released on 2014-10-23 with total page 1118 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Here freshly researched, unprecedented stories regarding modern American thought and religious life show how the scholar Friedrich Schleiermacher (1768-1834) provides ongoing influence still. They describe his influence on universal rights, American religious life, theology, philosophy, history, psychology, interpretation of texts, community formation, and interpersonal dialogue. Schleiermacher is an Einstein-like innovator in all these areas and more. This work contrasts chiefly "evangelical liberal" figures with others (between circa 1835 and the 1920s). It also looks ahead to several careers extended well into the twentieth century and offers numerous characterizations of Schleiermacher's thought. In six tightly organized parts, fourteen expert historians chronologically discuss the following: (1) Methodist leaders (1766-1924); (2) Stuart, Bushnell, Nevin, and Hodge; (3) Restorationists, Transcendentalists, women leaders, Schaff, and Rauschenbusch; (4) Clarke, Mullins, Carus, and Bowne; (5) Dewey, Royce, Ames, Knudson, Brown, Fosdick, Cross, Jones, and Thurman--within contemporary contexts. Unexpectedly, John Dewey lies at the epicenter of the narrative, and Harry Emerson Fosdick and Howard Thurman bring it to its climax. Recently, evidence displays a broadening influence advancing rapidly. The sixth part of the book surveys modern historiography, Schleiermacher on history and comparative method and on psychology as a basic scientific and philosophical field. That section also provides a critical survey of histories of modern theology and offers concluding questions and answers. The three editors contribute twenty of the thirty-one chapters.
