La metodología utilizada y los instrumentos de investigación tienen como objetivo alcanzar unas respuestas generales sobre las perspectivas de los docentes, sin pretender ahondar en el impacto de la sociedad sobre la educación, el curriculum de la formación del profesorado o sus niveles socioeconómicos. La finalidad de este estudio radica en la comprensión del índice de impacto del libro de texto en el funcionamiento del aula del maestro y de la utilización de las nuevas tecnologías y otros recursos en el aula de lengua extranjera.
