Pour cela, l'orthophoniste possède peu d'outils à sa disposition. Nous avons donc décidé d'élaborer un matériel pour la rééducation orthophonique de l'enfant présentant un bégaiement. Nous avons créé un support écrit, afin d'envisager la rééducation orthophonique du bégaiement grâce la lecture à voix haute. En effet, chez certains sujets bègues, cette dernière est plus fluide que leur parole, ce qui constitue alors un bon point de départ pour la rééducation. Chez d'autres, elle présente autant de dysfluences qu'en parole spontanée, voire davantage, et le travail de cette composante se révèle alors indispensable. Ainsi est né "Bégotextes," composé de courts textes de difficultés et de natures variables pour la rééducation de l'enfant bègue entre 8 et 11 ans.
