Desde 1990 es director del programa de estudios sobre dirección de proyectos en el Project Management Institute. A partir de 1983, Davidson Frame ha dirigido numerosos seminarios sobre este tema, en los que han participado más de 6.000 jefes de proyecto de Estados Unidos y otros países. Es autor de numerosos artículos y, entre otros, del libro La dirección de proyectos en las organizaciones (Ediciones Granica).
