Neben diesem Arbeitsschwerpunkt wird analysiert, in welcher Art und Weise bestimmte Bindungsmuster Schutz- oder Risikofaktoren für die emotionale und soziale Entwicklung des Kindes darstellen. Dieser Fragestellung widmet sich jedoch erst der zweite Teil der Arbeit, da zunächst die Bindungstheorie ausführlich und unter Bezugnahme auf verschiedene Aspekte elaboriert werden muss, da die Auswirkungen einer Bindungsstörung auf die emotionale und soziale Entwicklung eines Kindes nur dann nachvollziehbar sind, wenn vorher ergründet wurde, was genau unter einer Bindung und deren Konzept zu verstehen ist und wie spezifische Bindungsmuster die kindliche Entwicklung beeinflussen. Die Bindungstheorie beantwortet stark zusammengefasst die Frage, wie ein Kind zu einem ausgeglichen und selbstsicheren Menschen heranwächst.Sie besagt, dass eine sichere Bindung zu einer Bezugsperson die Basis für das Kind repräsentiert, von der aus es die Welt erkunden und sich entwickeln kann. Dieser Umstand macht deutlich, wie wichtig es für die emotionale und soziale Entwicklung eines Kindes ist, eine vollständige (sichere) Bindung zu mindestens einer Bezugsperson entwickeln zu können. Aus Sicht der Verfasserin dieser Arbeit ist es demnach essenziell, sich als angehende Lehrperson, welche Kinder mit Förderbedarf in der emotionalen und sozialen Entwicklung unterrichten wird, mit dem Konzept der Bindung, spezifischen Bindungsmustern und deren Auswirkungen auf die kindliche Entwicklung zu befassen und auseinanderzusetzen – auch die Lehrperson selbst kann eine Bindungsperson für das Kind darstellen. Diese Arbeit unternimmt den Versuch herausstellen, wie stark Bindung und spezifische Bindungsmuster die kindliche Entwicklung beeinflussen.
