Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this third book, Luzi looks into our connection to nature and gets a deeper understanding of life, nature, the planet and creation itself. This connection is initially established with a consciousness that appears as the human concept of the Unicorn. The horn is not really a horn, but a swirl of energy or, more precisely, a point of consciousness for communication to consciousness and energy. This point is widely misunderstood to be the third eye, as people imagine it to connect to the visual cortex for creating images. When Luzi visits the twenty-two crystal caves, she encounters the new energy that may benefit the one who has the consciousness to tap into it. Luzi’s perspective is the artificial intelligence, AI, robotics and augmentation and evolution of the human body, and how humanity will live with these things. Her daughter, Julia, focuses on the human coalition with the planet and the imbalance between the feminine and the masculine. Divine wisdom is given through the unicorn, Alea, the white dragon, Loong, the crimson dragon, Shaumbra, Gaia, Pan, Kuthumi, Saint Germain, Sekhmet and others. Luzi will connect to her own divine wisdom as she continues on her journey for embodied realisation, also called enlightenment. Even though the book is part of a series, this is a complete story in its own right.

Book excerpt: The content of this textbook is organized as a theory of language for the construction of talking robots. The main topic is the mechanism of natural language communication in both the speaker and the hearer. In the third edition the author has modernized the text, leaving the overview of traditional, theoretical, and computational linguistics, analytic philosophy of language, and mathematical complexity theory with their historical backgrounds intact. The format of the empirical analyses of English and German syntax and semantics has been adapted to current practice; and Chaps. 22–24 have been rewritten to focus more sharply on the construction of a talking robot.

This book was released on 2001 with total page 596 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The central task of a future-oriented computational linguistics is the development of cognitive machines which humans can freely talk with in their respective natural language. In the long run, this task will ensure the development of a functional theory of language, an objective method of verification, and a wide range of practical applications. Natural communication requires not only verbal processing, but also non-verbal perception and action. Therefore the content of this textbook is organized as a theory of language for the construction of talking robots. The main topic is the mechanism of natural language communication in both the speaker and the hearer. The content is divided into four parts: Theory of Language, Theory of Grammar, Morphology and Syntax, Semantics and Pragmatics. The book contains more than 700 exercises for reviewing key ideas and important problems. In the Second Edition, changes are most noticeable in Chapters 22-24, which have been completely rewritten. They present a declarative outline for programming the semantic and pragmatic interpretation of natural language communication. The presentation is now simpler and more comprehensive. It is defined as a formal fragment and includes a new control structure, an analysis of spatio-temporal infer-encing, and an analysis of internal matching based on the notion of a task analysis. Examples and explanations which were contained in the old versions of Chapters 22-24 have been moved to the new Appendix. A schematic summary and a conclusion have been added as well.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Life on the Screen is a book not about computers, but about people and how computers are causing us to reevaluate our identities in the age of the Internet. We are using life on the screen to engage in new ways of thinking about evolution, relationships, politics, sex, and the self. Life on the Screen traces a set of boundary negotiations, telling the story of the changing impact of the computer on our psychological lives and our evolving ideas about minds, bodies, and machines. What is emerging, Turkle says, is a new sense of identity—as decentered and multiple. She describes trends in computer design, in artificial intelligence, and in people’s experiences of virtual environments that confirm a dramatic shift in our notions of self, other, machine, and world. The computer emerges as an object that brings postmodernism down to earth.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Quests are overrated All his life, Prince Rupert thrilled in the glorious exploits of his royal ancestors. Finally embarking on his own heroic journey, Rupert realizes there’s a lot the minstrels leave out of their songs. On the hunt for a mythical dragon, besieged by demons, and navigating the cursed Darkwood with a smart-mouthed unicorn, Rupert is becoming somewhat disenchanted with legends. But even if he succeeds, peril awaits, because the king never intended for his spare heir to return from this fool’s errand. Now, with the help of a few unusual allies, Rupert must make up the story as he goes--outmaneuvering assassins, thwarting the voracious spread of the Darkwood, and grappling with rumors of a powerful evil’s return. Rupert may not be the hero Forest Kingdom wanted, but at this rate, he’s the only one they’re going to get. New York Times bestselling author Simon R. Green’s trademark wit and genre-twisting narrative sparkles in Blue Moon Rising, the first book of The Forest Kingdom series.
