Hundreds of thousands of churches have been erected in His name. Millions have claimed to be His ministers. Billions have professed Him as "Lord and Savior." Today, Jesus is renowned the world over, commonly known in one way or another in every culture of the world, whether one professes to be Christian, atheist, or of any other religion. Many have positive comments about Him, regardless of their beliefs about who He was and what He taught. His name also stirs great controversy and debate. Yet, despite worldwide recognition-despite billions professing to be His followers-despite all the knowledge circulating about Him-Jesus Christ remains unknown-even to Christianity! Excluding popular tradition, theory, and opinion-the usual approach to His life-it takes you on an extraordinary and gripping journey through the corridors of the life and times of Jesus Christ, and correctly answers in plain language the greatest questions about Him-straight from the Bible and history. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this period of theological ferment unmatched since the first Christian century, we once again have different ways of formulating Jesus’s significance and identity while remaining within the one faith. We are being called to read the Scripture with a new approach suitable to our time and place. We must reclaim Jesus again so that his living, updated legacy will be handed on to the next generation throughout this twenty-first century. This ferment is creating many levels of belief in the story of Jesus. Today we have to admit that we live within the anonymity of an evolving universe where the ultimate mystery that Jesus identified as our Divine Father is the source and goal of all creation. We cannot be genuinely human if we are not related to this divine mystery that pervades the human experience—the one we live within as fish live in the sea.

Drawing from the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, the reader is swept into the world of Roman occupied Galilee two thousand years ago, and discovers why Mary and Joseph had to journey to Bethlehem, even while expecting a baby. This book was released on 2018-01-03 with total page 72 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Essene Teacher of Righteousness was Apollonius of Tyana, who in the year 325 A.D., at the Council of Nicea, was replaced by a fictitious messiah called Jesus Christ: the greatest fraud in history. Here, Raymond Bernard, Ph.D. has discovered several sources that supposedly tell the true stories about Jesus and his family, as members of the Essene Jewish sect. The story of his life is commingled with tales of his alleged traveling to India and Japan. Jesus appears to be a person whose life and story were developed by the Essenes. His imaginary crucifixion was further developed by the so-called Holy Roman Empire, who used the Christian religion as a political tool to control the masses.

Download or read book The Life of Saint Issa written by Nicholas Notovitch and published by . This book was released on 2018-07-25 with total page 80 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Notovitch's biography of Saint Issa, in which he asserts that Jesus Christ spent many of his missing years traversing India, is presented here. A Crimean Jewish adventurer and explorer of India, Notovitch traveled widely across the East in the late nineteenth century. He claimed to have discovered a biographical document in Hemis Monastery - located in modern-day India - from which he created this book. The bold and fantastical claims about Christ attracted attention from scholars of Christianity and the popular media of the time. Spotting inconsistencies in Notovitch's account, it was only after being confronted with these that he apparently confessed to having fabricated the biography of Jesus Christ. For some years the entire matter was considered a hoax; until the Indian mystic Swami Abhedananda visited the Hemis Monastery where a monk confirmed that Notovitch had stayed some six weeks there, convalescing with a broken leg, whereupon he read the disputed documents concerning Christ.
