Zunächst definiere ich die Schulsozialarbeit, dann benenne ich die Funktion der Schule und die Grundpositionen. Weiterhin setze ich mich mit dem Problem der Migration auseinander, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf der sozialen Herkunft und der Ungleichheit liegen soll. Danach werde ich die interkulturelle Schulsozialarbeit thematisieren – und zwar mit einem Beispiel von interkultureller Schulsozialarbeit an der Grundschule in Lenau. Über das Thema Schule wird heutzutage sehr viel diskutiert und gestritten. Gegenwärtig existiert viel Gewaltbereitschaft an deutschen Bildungseinrichtungen, der Lehrerberuf verliert immer mehr an Interesse, welches man am Lehrermangel an den Schulen festmachen kann. „Da ist vom “Horrorjob“ die Rede, der in der Gesellschaft immer weniger Anerkennung findet.“ Selbst viele Eltern werden mit den heranwachsenden Kindern nicht mehr fertig. „[...] die persönlichen, familiären und gesellschaftlichen Kontexte, in denen junge Menschen heute aufwachsen, sind sehr viel spannungsreicher und konfliktgeladener, als es vielleicht unsere eigenen waren. Schätzungen gehen davon aus, dass heute zwischen 25 und 30 Prozent aller Jugendlichen von psychosozialen Belastungen betroffen sind.“ Der Beistand von den Erziehungsberechtigten, der Gesellschaft oder der Politik lässt zu wünschen übrig, Lehrer müssen oftmals selbst mit der schwierigen Situation in der Schule fertig werden. Selbst Schulpsychologen fühlen sich häufig ihren Anforderungen nicht gewachsen. An dieser Stelle muss die Schulsozialarbeit anknüpfen, die in dieser Arbeit behandelt wird: Wie können Schule und Sozialarbeit am effektivsten zusammenarbeiten? Lohnt sich die Zusammenarbeit und wie sieht überhaupt die interkulturelle Schulsozialarbeit aus? Diesen Fragen möchte ich im Folgenden nachgehen.

Dies soll aber nicht Thema meiner Arbeit sein. Viel mehr möchte ich herausfinden, ob Schulsozialarbeit als eine Maßnahme gegen soziale Ungleichheiten an Schulen einsetzbar ist.
