This book was released on 2014-09-01T00:00:00+02:00 with total page 156 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Synopsis Guida allo studio della storia medievale e moderna by : Gina Fasoli
Download or read book Guida allo studio della storia medievale e moderna written by Gina Fasoli and published by . This book was released on 1983 with total page 198 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. (Ottobre 1982. Gina Fasoli). [Fonte: Presentazione dellla IV edizione, a pag. 5].

Download or read book Cyber Law in Italy written by Giovanni Ziccardi and published by Kluwer Law International B.V.. This book was released on 2020-01-14 with total page 601 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Derived from the renowned multi-volume International Encyclopaedia of Laws, this practical guide to cyber law – the law affecting information and communication technology (ICT) – in Italy covers every aspect of the subject, including intellectual property rights in the ICT sector, relevant competition rules, drafting and negotiating ICT-related contracts, electronic transactions, privacy issues, and computer crime. Lawyers who handle transnational matters will appreciate the detailed explanation of specific characteristics of practice and procedure. Following a general introduction, the book assembles its information and guidance in seven main areas of practice: the regulatory framework of the electronic communications market; software protection, legal protection of databases or chips, and other intellectual property matters; contracts with regard to software licensing and network services, with special attention to case law in this area; rules with regard to electronic evidence, regulation of electronic signatures, electronic banking, and electronic commerce; specific laws and regulations with respect to the liability of network operators and service providers and related product liability; protection of individual persons in the context of the processing of personal data and confidentiality; and the application of substantive criminal law in the area of ICT. Its succinct yet scholarly nature, as well as the practical quality of the information it provides, make this book a valuable time-saving tool for business and legal professionals alike. Lawyers representing parties with interests in Italy will welcome this very useful guide, and academics and researchers will appreciate its value in the study of comparative law in this relatively new and challenging field.

Book excerpt: The analysis of societies' transformations and the influence on the modernization of Central and Eastern Europe economies -- between the pre-modern period and the 20th century -- is a useful tool for understanding contemporary trends in the region, particularly since the debates on economic and social reconstruction find their counterpart in modern state construction projects. The history of this region of Europe -- described as a space of ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity -- is illustrated in this book through the dimension of territory, population, and consumption. The book's contributions were presented at an international conference in Alba Iulia, Romania, in April 2013. (Series: Eastern Europe / Osteuropa - Vol. 8)

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A collection of 15 articles from the June 2021 edition of La Civiltà Cattolica, the highly respected and oldest Catholic journal published from Rome. Forging our Culture: Ignatius, Luther, Charles V and Magellan in the year 1521 by Giancarlo Pani considers how a number of events in the sixteenth century collectively propelled Europe into the Modern Age. Ignatius of Loyola’s devotion to St Peter is well-know, Pedro de Leturia asks what aspects of his spirituality are clearly inspired by St. Francis of Assisi? With over 70 per cent of the world’s Catholics now living outside Europe and North America, the Catholic Church is truly a global Church. However, it faces many challenges. Thomas P Rausch, a theologian at Loyola Marymount University in USA, summarized the issues. In Jacob and Esau Embrace: An Orthodox Rabbinic Declaration on Christianity Drew Christiansen argues that, in an age of secularization, Jews and Christians should bear witness in a special way to God’s holiness and his intrinsic link with the moral life. Cristian Peralta reflects whether the lack of certainty we are experiencing during the is pandemic something new and what are the certainties on which to build a sustainable future? Theological and Anthropological Consequences of Environmental Damage. An African reflects by Wilfred Sumani reminds us how nature conservation should be promoted not only for the sake of economic sustainability, but also for its theological and anthropological importance.

Book Synopsis Marxism and Historiography by : Paolo Favilli
Download or read book Marxism and Historiography written by Paolo Favilli and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2021-10-22 with total page 364 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Eminent Italian historian Giovanni Levi once notably remarked that “no one is a Marxist anymore,” pointing to a paradox in Italian cultural history. While what is called "Marxism" was supposedly hegemonic over Italian culture, and especially history writing, for decades in the postwar period, it then seems to have suddenly disappeared. This study questions such a vision of a monolithic and hegemonic Marxism. It starts from the most effective anecdote to all ideologising narratives—that is, research into the texts themselves. It sees the Marxist historiography of the post-1945 period as a "history in the making," in which references to Marxian theory were a fundamental factor driving historiographical innovation. This allows the book to bring to light a highly original experience in the development of historiography, based on the long Italian tradition of reflection on historical knowledge.
