Download or read book Software Telemetry written by Jamie Riedesel and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2021-08-31 with total page 558 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Software Telemetry is a guide to operating the telemetry systems that monitor and maintain your applications. It takes a big picture view of telemetry, teaching you to manage your logging, metrics, and events as a complete end-to-end ecosystem. You'll learn the base architecture that underpins any software telemetry system, allowing you to easily integrate new systems into your existing infrastructure, and how these systems work under the hood. Throughout, you'll follow three very different companies to see how telemetry techniques impact a greenfield startup, a large legacy enterprise, and a non-technical organization without any in-house development. You'll even cover how software telemetry is used by court processes--ensuring that when your first telemetry subpoena arrives, there's no reason to panic!

Book Synopsis Introduction to PCM Telemetering Systems by : Stephen John Horan
Download or read book Introduction to PCM Telemetering Systems written by Stephen John Horan and published by CRC Press. This book was released on 1993 with total page 328 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Introduction to PCM Telemetering Systems provides a practical systems approach to describing how Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) telemetry systems and other telemetry systems are configured to gather data, format data for transmission, and ultimately process and present data to a user. The book integrates many diverse topics from all areas of the field, including sensors, communications and signal processing, user interface design, and computer systems. The book also includes telemetry standards used by NASA and the Department of Defense. This is a feature not normally covered in textbooks. Problem sets are presented at the end of each chapter to illustrate concepts within the text and to provide starting points for student design projects. Solutions to the problems are available from the author. Introduction to PCM Telemetering Systems is an excellent cross-training text for electrical engineers and computer scientists, as well as a primary text for advanced students in engineering and computer science.
Book Synopsis Development of a telemetry system for monitoring piston characteristics inside combustion engines by : Paul Lagaly
Download or read book Development of a telemetry system for monitoring piston characteristics inside combustion engines written by Paul Lagaly and published by Logos Verlag Berlin GmbH. This book was released on 2024-05-06 with total page 128 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This project aimed to develop a compact and lightweight telemetry system that mechanically decouples measurements, enabling versatile applications across different measurement scenarios, particularly for pistons and other moving systems. Utilizing an ESP8266, a printed circuit board design was created from individually tested integrated circuits, which formed the foundation for measuring various physical variables. Given the challenging conditions inside a piston of an internal combustion engine, ensuring high robustness was paramount during the electrical engineering process to prevent failures due to high temperatures and acceleration levels. Alongside the installation process for thermocouples, software for energy-efficient measurement with customizable resolution and optional transmission via Wi-Fi or internal storing was developed. Demonstrating feasibility during full-load operation of a heavy-duty diesel engine, the telemetry system with a high-resolution surface thermocouple was integrated in one piston to establish a method for assigning crank angles, enabling measurement and transmission of surface temperatures with crank angle resolution. Further series of measurements, including the use of alternative fuels, were conducted with a third piston, expanding the findings. The outcome is an innovative telemetry measurement device capable of recording experimental data from moving components, potentially expediting market solutions by reducing development times.

Book Synopsis Proceedings of CECNet 2021 by : A.J. Tallón-Ballesteros
Download or read book Proceedings of CECNet 2021 written by A.J. Tallón-Ballesteros and published by IOS Press. This book was released on 2022-01-19 with total page 788 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is almost impossible to imagine life today without the electronics, communications and networks we have all come to take for granted. The 6G network is currently under development and some chips able to operate at the Terahertz (THz) scale have already been introduced, so the next decade will probably see the consolidation of 6G-based technology, as well as many compliant devices. This book presents the proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Electronics, Communications and Networks (CECNet 2021), initially planned to be held from 18-21 November 2021 in Beijing, China, but ultimately held as an online event due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. The CECNet series is now an established annual event attracting participants in the interrelated fields of electronics, computers, communications and wireless communications engineering and technology from around the world. Careful review by program committee members, who took into consideration the breadth and depth of those research topics that fall within the scope of CECNet, resulted in the selection of the 88 papers presented here from the 325 submissions received. This represents an acceptance rate of around 27%. Providing an overview of current research and developments in these rapidly evolving fields, the book will be of interest to all those working with digital communications networks.
