Book Synopsis Estimulación temprana y psicomotricidad by : Varios autores
Download or read book Estimulación temprana y psicomotricidad written by Varios autores and published by Wanceulen S.L.. This book was released on 2012-01-23 with total page 121 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book Synopsis Global Environmental Constitutionalism by : James R. May
Download or read book Global Environmental Constitutionalism written by James R. May and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2015 with total page 427 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Reflecting a global trend, scores of countries have affirmed that their citizens are entitled to healthy air, water, and land and that their constitution should guarantee certain environmental rights. This book examines the increasing recognition that the environment is a proper subject for protection in constitutional texts and for vindication by constitutional courts. This phenomenon, which the authors call environmental constitutionalism, represents the confluence of constitutional law, international law, human rights, and environmental law. National apex and constitutional courts are exhibiting a growing interest in environmental rights, and as courts become more aware of what their peers are doing, this momentum is likely to increase. This book explains why such provisions came into being, how they are expressed, and the extent to which they have been, and might be, enforced judicially. It is a singular resource for evaluating the content of and hope for constitutional environmental rights.

This book was released on 2007-01-01 with total page 203 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As is the case in all fields of medicine, developmental endocrinology is now being studied at the molecular level. In this volume world-class researchers review the advances of the past decade in the study of normal and abnormal organogenesis of the thyroid gland and of the ontogeny of its function. They describe human thyroid development and its defects with the help of genetic studies in mouse models. Genetic defects of thyroid hormone synthesis are covered and their clinical relevance debated. The important field of thyroid cancer in the context of spontaneous occurrence and as part of familial neoplasia syndromes is described in detail. Finally, the important problem of environmental iodine deficiency which has emerged as a global public health concern is addressed. For the first time, a decade of work is presented in a concise and highly readable form. Offering valuable insight both for senior clinicians and graduate students, this publication will be of central interest to basic scientists involved in developmental biology as well as to pediatricians and endocrinologists dealing with patients with congenital disorders of thyroid function.
