He actually had a Pentecostal “rushing mighty wind” experience as the apostles did; enjoyed the distinction of God speaking to him audibly as he did to the child Samuel or Moses at the burning bush; and had the honor of God proposing and sealing a covenant with him just as He did with Noah, Abraham, and David.
