Notwithstanding the cyclical pickup, medium-term growth continues to be constrained by supply-side bottlenecks and weaknesses in the corporate and banking sectors. Past fund advice and the authorities’ macroeconomic policies have been broadly aligned, but progress on structural reforms has been partial.
