L'origine e il nome: Nella "prima decina" che intitola "L'eccellenza del Santo Rosario nell'origine e nel nome" parla delle origini del rosario e del suo nome (in origine si chiamava infatti "salterio angelico" o "salterio di Gesù e di Maria") raccontando la storia di San Domenico tramite il libro "De Dignitate psalterii" di Alano della Rupe: « Il santo Rosario, essendo sostanzialmente composto della preghiera di Cristo Gesù e della salutazione angelica - il Pater e l'Ave - e della meditazione dei misteri di Gesù e di Maria, è senza dubbio la prima e la principale devozione in uso presso i fedeli, dal tempo degli Apostoli e dei primi discepoli, dì secolo in secolo giunta fino a noi.
