Download or read book Stepfather's Manipulation written by Tom West and published by Author House. This book was released on 2014-07-07 with total page 121 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the first book I have ever written. This is a fiction based on a true story of a manipulative wicked stepfather who captures the heart of a beautiful, innocent married woman with three children-one boy and two girls-from a different class background. The stepfather is hell-bent on jealousy of the younger siblings, especially the boy. The stepfather disregards his own family, leaving behind his wife and his only son, with no regard to contacting them in the future. An expression from the author who has lived this life does not want this to happen to anybody else, giving you an insight to the manipulation of a wicked stepfather, who manipulates a young boy to remove him from the family with the use of cunning, evil manipulation in such a way that alters the personality and social standing of the young boy, eventually removing him from the family unit and destroying his morals at same time, with a disregard to the young boy's feelings, and at the same time, destroying his social life and future.

Download or read book There's a Fine Line written by Teresa Joyce and published by BookRix. This book was released on 2017-05-16 with total page 169 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There is magnitude of people out there still recovering from the cavern that abuse leaves in its wake; this book serves as a walkthrough towards recovery. From personal experience I know that there is camaraderie to be found by sharing your struggle with others that have walked a similar path. With regards to my own recovery I found far more growth within my pain by reading the words of others. There shared struggle helped me by far more than I ever found within the mental health care profession. Whilst reading books of this nature you are able to recover and reflect in your own time. Whilst you are sitting in front of a mental health professional, you have been asked to go back into the lion’s den right there at the moment in time. That is something that is not always possible. Books like my own serve as a recognition that being abused is not something that you had any control over my book makes that very clear. Without sounding a little like I am the oracle, if my book had been written by someone else, the words within my story would have giving me the strength within to keep walking towards that light. There is complete madness within its pages teetering on insanity. But that only serves to reiterate that recovery is possible for us all.

She reminisces about the sacrifice, love, and the close-knit ties that can only be created by the strength of family. She talks about the greatest trauma her family experienced - her father's struggle with alcohol, which eventually took him away from the family forever. After the departure of their father, Gerda, her mother and her five sibblings had to live with her grandparents until her mother remarried six years later. While theirs was a difficult childhood, she recalls many good memories from their early life along with the bad ones. Through all of the stories, the common thread is her love for her family and her homeland. Although she would eventually migrate to Canada, the memories of the past are lovingly recounted for all to enjoy in this collection.

Whether you feel on top of the world, or are struggling to survive, this book has insights that will inspire you to transform into the person you were truly meant to be. Mary Tobin, PhD (Holistic Medicine) Author, “Holistic Healing Power” *** Within the ordinary life is the raw material for gold. Carla Weis uses her personal story to help us see the potential that exists when a life is honored and excavated for its deep wisdom. As an initiate, she helps to draw the connects between the natural evolution of our life’s unfolding and the potential that exists in all of us to reach new levels of spiritual awareness. How do we become an embodied spiritual being? Who is privileged with this opportunity? Carla Weis demonstrates how the natural unfolding of life can hold all the raw materials for realizing one’s true self and purpose. That we are all this privileged; we just need to know how to look. Whether powerful and miraculous or mundane and commonplace, the eyes with which we look at the foundational material of our life makes all the difference in what we can make from this raw material. Carla Weis uses her life story, told with both simplicity and almost nonchalant introspection to help us see how the truth of who we are is concealed, and then can be revealed and made conscious as we journey through our life. And when and if we are ready, what we can do to bring our raw essence into self-realization. Kate Siner , PhD (Psychology) Co-Author with Jack Canfield Host, Real Answers Podcast
