A retired firefighter named Man reaches out to help his neighbors for the first time in years. Each person faces Frederic on the outside while confronting entirely different inner storms—guilt, pain, and the search for purpose and meaning. Old wounds are healed even in the midst of loss and grief, sprinkled with the unexpected moments of humor that are part of our ability to cope with trauma and reach toward wholeness.
