This book was released on 2023-01-21 with total page 156 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Depression has only one goal: to kill you. Be it by the means of a swift and intentional act or by a long, drawn-out process of slowly taking your life with alcohol and drug abuse, it only wants you dead. Those who fight depression with a bottle of gin or a needle in the arm are losing the fight. They're currently killing themselves slowly, just like depression wants them to. Every antidepressant has a possible side effect of making your depression worse. Is that winning the fight or giving depression the upper hand? Depression wants us to cheat on our lives by forcing us to have an affair with death. The purpose of this book is to help you learn how to love your life more than the idea of death. For someone with depression, death seems like a sweet release, the only way to end the pain. Trust me on this: it's not, especially if you die without knowing Jesus. A life of perpetual agony, despair, rejection, and suffering can't even compare to the first minute of an eternity in Hell separated from God. Depression doesn't care who you are--it wants to kill you. It's time that we finally beat depression and love our lives more than death. In this book, you'll find three things. The first is a clear explanation of the biblical Gospel so that you can learn how to be saved and how to know with certainty that you're saved. The second thing you will find within is my personal story on battling depression, anxiety, suicidal contemplations, a night terror disorder, and severe insomnia. Finally, you will also find nine Bible-based steps in this book that will teach you How To Beat Depression With The Bible.

Book excerpt: This book started off as a thought after speaking in many churches, and college settings where individuals who confessed to believe in God, and expressed that they were active believers suddenly “according to them”, started silently struggling with depression and finding no answer to help them with this overwhelming problem. When Believers Become Depressed is a candid book about how those who believe in God can become trapped by the darkness and deception of depression, and how they mask their depression through religious efforts. This book was written to assist believers and those in the helping profession to better understand what the symptoms of depression are for those who have faith in God. This book will also highlight 21 Symptoms of Spiritual Depression and show you how to challenge yourself to realistically deal with your issues or help someone with theirs. Everyone at some point in their life will have problems, issues, and situations that may cause them to be saddened or emotionally broken to the point of some form of depression. Sometimes it is more serious than people really think. This book will examine spiritual depression, the signs and symptoms, and will use Psychological and Biblical principles to help individuals break free from the deception of depression. This book can be a life-changing tool, if you pick up a copy for yourself, and buy one for someone else. Paperback: 232 pages

This book was released on 2021-09-25 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book wasn’t made to please. It wasn’t made just so because I have something to say. It wasn’t made just because I wanted to simply share my story. I made this book because I feel deep down my heart it tells me, somebody needs to hear it. I believe and have a strong feeling somewhere out there people needs to hear it. When I see and read someone struggling with depression and don't know how to deal with it, it breaks my heart painfully. I have seen how much they suffer from inside. I can relate to where they are. I often tell to myself, "if they only know how to survive and manage it.".., but I cannot simply tell anyone directly on how to do it because people tend to believe what they only know. They are too focus on what they know and heard and probably believe on it because of what they experienced. I know being a sufferer you can hardly pick up opinions from other people because what matters to you is how much you struggle inside, how painful it is to carry day by day, believing to yourself that nobody can relate to you except you and the people who struggle with it. We may have different experiences in life, maybe yours is too painful than mine but my experiences with depression taught me many things in life. I have seen how much I have hated myself to how much I APPRECIATE the PAIN. I was begging for cure for so long that I dig deep down to my core being on what's really happening to me. I was screaming inside how painful it is to carry. I have seen myself how much I have suffered from depression. I dealt with it like a tortured one but still tried my very best to stand up and pretend to look normal. Depression eats me whole. I was being consumed by It, "the all of me", to the point of reading the word PAIN aches my heart painfully. This pain that I have been through is too much to handle on my own. So I look for an answer forcefully on how to be better. Learning and adjusting myself took me years to fully manage myself. And in those processes, life teaches me lessons I never knew I could understand things clearly and passionately. These 15 HIDDEN SECRETS of mine on Beating Depression On Your Own are my experiences that I wanted to share to you on how I have survived depression and managed it without the help of any doctors or any medicinal drugs. I have survived the darkness of it and I wanted to share to you my Hidden Secrets that I have never shared to anyone on how I do it. In this book, I tell everything. If you suffer from depression find every possible way that could help you release from this disease. Inside I explained everything.

Those who find it hard to interact with other people, whose lives are so hectic, with work and children, which are so demanding, they cant even find time to go to Church. He wants them to have the consolation that God is right by their side and they are not alone. We also have the assurance that he is always willing to help them when they call out to him. Looking at the situation of the world in which we are living in today and observing the suffering and pain that the nations are going through; I have always sought to find a solution whenever any problems arise in life. When I study the Bible the (Word of God) I find that he has given us the solutions, but it seems that we refuse to accept his guidance and seek to find our own answers, but sad to say that our answers do not help us. When God Created the World he put every thing in motion to sustain life and to heal our Sickness and Diseases. We have however; gone so far away from his teachings and we have now developed our own ways and rejected his way. My advice is that we seek to find his way and obey his will. Let us not forget the words of Jesus Christ who told us that God is our Father and as Father he has the responsibility for our well-being.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Overcoming Depression - One Christian's Perspective is a personal testimony that details a depressive episode in my life that spanned 2= years. There were a number of factors that led to this depressive episode in my life. I could not eat, I cried a lot, and I felt worse than sad. There were some days I could not get out of bed, and I began to have thoughts of suicide. Nevertheless, I would not let the emotional despair of depression take hold of my life without taking a stand; so, I purposed in my heart to take this journey to overcome depression leaning and depending on the everlasting arms of Jesus Christ. This particular time in my life was an emotional roller coaster I had never ridden before. So, as I tell my testimony of overcoming depression and how God delivered me from going down into the emotional pit of depression, it is my prayer that you would also purpose in your heart to overcome because greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world (Jn. 4:4).

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When faced with life's uncertainties and letdowns, we often turn to our faith for support and encouragement. We go to places of worship, listen to sermons, read the Scriptures, we listen to hymns and worship songs, we attend small-group ministries, and so on. But what happens when we are faced with uncertainties and letdowns with our mind? When depression weighs our heart and anxiety troubles our mind, we unknowingly send our self into a downward spiral of self-loathing, emptiness, and persistent sadness. What if during these trying times we find comfort, rest, and assurance in biblical promises? Within these pages is an honest account of Jezanie Warjri's personal struggle with depression and anxiety and the beginning of her search for healing and acceptance through the Scripture. It's not theological reasoning that this book offers you. It's not how simple faith and relentless prayers can help you overcome depression and anxiety. It is finding hope, assurance, comfort, and renewal in the words and promises of the Bible. This book is about finding God in the midst of the chaos.
