Grundzüge einer philosophischen Hermeneutik“ mit dieser Kunst und versucht eine umfassende Theorie der Verstehens auszuarbeiten. In der vorliegenden Arbeit werde ich mich mit dieser Theorie auseinandersetzen. Gadamer geht es in diesem Buch vorrangig um das verstehen von Texten, ich werde versuchen nachzuweisen, dass sich seine Theorien durchaus auch auf zwischenmenschliche Beziehungen anwenden lassen, dass, was Gadamer unter Horizontverschmelzung versteht, auch zwischen Menschen stattfindet. In ersten Teil werde ich kurz die wesentlichen Begriffe, wie Vorurteil, Zirkel des Verstehens, Horizont, Horizonterweiterung und Horizontverschmelzung erklären, um dann im zweiten Teil zu betrachten, wie Horizontverschmelzung zwischen zwei Menschen, ich nutze dafür den Film „Jenseits der Stille“, stattfindet.
