Experience shows that, if two antidotes are indicated in a case, they produce striking effects, zf given in combination. The explanation of this phenomenon is not difficult. I suppose that the pro cess of mixing does not apply to higher potencies, but that the two may assist each other in their mutual effects; but even this fact does not extend to antidotes which repel each other, and each of which pursues its own action to the end of the cure.
