The report provides historical background to the four communities and then summarizes the oral history interviews (including some direct quotes) under the following themes: economic changes (transportation, commercial fisheries, local industries, trapping), population migration, the Canol project, people & their environment (land & housing, education, food, clothing, leisure, health, communications), and government. The appendix includes an oral history interview procedure manual.
