Book Synopsis Hesitant Fuzzy Set by : Bahram Farhadinia
Download or read book Hesitant Fuzzy Set written by Bahram Farhadinia and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2021-12-04 with total page 162 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Covering a wide range of notions concerning hesitant fuzzy set and its extensions, this book provides a comprehensive reference to the topic. In the case where different sources of vagueness appear simultaneously, the concept of fuzzy set is not able to properly model the uncertainty, imprecise and vague information. In order to overcome such a limitation, different types of fuzzy extension have been introduced so far. Among them, hesitant fuzzy set was first introduced in 2010, and the existing extensions of hesitant fuzzy set have been encountering an increasing interest and attracting more and more attentions up to now. It is not an exaggeration to say that the recent decade has seen the blossoming of a larger set of techniques and theoretical outcomes for hesitant fuzzy set together with its extensions as well as applications. As the research has moved beyond its infancy, and now it is entering a maturing phase with increased numbers and types of extensions, this book aims to give a comprehensive review of such researches. Presenting the review of many and important types of hesitant fuzzy extensions, and including references to a large number of related publications, this book will serve as a useful reference book for researchers in this field.

Book Synopsis Measures of Probabilistic Neutrosophic Hesitant Fuzzy Sets and the Application in Reducing Unnecessary Evaluation Processes by : Songtao Shao
Download or read book Measures of Probabilistic Neutrosophic Hesitant Fuzzy Sets and the Application in Reducing Unnecessary Evaluation Processes written by Songtao Shao and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 23 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Distance measure and similarity measure have been applied to various multi-criteria decision-making environments, like talent selections, fault diagnoses and so on. Some improved distance and similarity measures have been proposed by some researchers. However, hesitancy is reflected in all aspects of life, thus the hesitant information needs to be considered in measures. Then, it can effectively avoid the loss of fuzzy information. However, regarding fuzzy information, it only reflects the subjective factor. Obviously, this is a shortcoming thatwill result in an inaccurate decision conclusion. Thus, based on the definition of a probabilistic neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy set (PNHFS), as an extended theory of fuzzy set, the basic definition of distance, similarity and entropy measures of PNHFS are established. Next, the interconnection among the distance, similarity and entropy measures are studied. Simultaneously, a novel measure model is established based on the PNHFSs. In addition, the new measure model is compared by some existed measures. Finally, we display their applicability concerning the investment problems, which can be utilized to avoid redundant evaluation processes.

Book Synopsis Handbook of Group Decision and Negotiation by : D. Marc Kilgour
Download or read book Handbook of Group Decision and Negotiation written by D. Marc Kilgour and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2010-08-02 with total page 473 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Publication of the Handbook of Group Decision and Negotiation marks a milestone in the evolution of the group decision and negotiation (GDN) eld. On this occasion, editors Colin Eden and Marc Kilgour asked me to write a brief history of the eld to provide background and context for the volume. They said that I am in a good position to do so: Actively involved in creating the GDN Section and serving as its chair; founding and leading the GDN journal, Group Decision and Negotiation as editor-in-chief, and the book series, “Advances in Group Decision and Negotiation” as editor; and serving as general chair of the GDN annual meetings. I accepted their invitation to write a brief history. In 1989 what is now the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) established its Section on Group Decision and Negotiation. The journal Group Decision and Negotiation was founded in 1992, published by Springer in cooperation with INFORMS and the GDN Section. In 2003, as an ext- sion of the journal, the Springer book series, “Advances in Group Decision and Negotiation” was inaugurated.

Book Synopsis An improved MULTIMOORA method for multi-valued neutrosophic multi-criteria group decision-making based on prospect theory by : Fei Xiao
Download or read book An improved MULTIMOORA method for multi-valued neutrosophic multi-criteria group decision-making based on prospect theory written by Fei Xiao and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 32 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: At present, there are many subways being constructed in many cities. In the construction of subways, an appropriate scheme is helpful to save cost and ensure the quality of the project. This paper attaches great importance to present a multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) method to deal with selecting an appropriate construction scheme for subways. The process of selecting an appropriate construction scheme for subways is complex because it includes a great deal of fuzzy and uncertain information which can be presented by multi-valued neutrosophic numbers (MVNNs). In addition, in order to handle the interaction of inputs, an improved generalized multi-valued neutrosophic weighted Heronian mean (IGMVNWHM) operator is introduced. Subsequently, a new distance measure between two MVNNs is defined for deriving the objective criteria weights.
Book Synopsis Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Method Based on Simplified Neutrosophic Linguistic Information with Cloud Model by : Jian-Qiang Wang
Download or read book Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Method Based on Simplified Neutrosophic Linguistic Information with Cloud Model written by Jian-Qiang Wang and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 27 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This study introduces simplified neutrosophic linguistic numbers (SNLNs) to describe online consumer reviews in an appropriate manner. Considering the defects of studies on SNLNs in handling linguistic information, the cloud model is used to convert linguistic terms in SNLNs to three numerical characteristics. Then, a novel simplified neutrosophic cloud (SNC) concept is presented, and its operations and distance are defined. Next, a series of simplified neutrosophic cloud aggregation operators are investigated, including the simplified neutrosophic clouds Maclaurin symmetric mean (SNCMSM) operator, weighted SNCMSM operator, and generalized weighted SNCMSM operator. Subsequently, a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) model is constructed based on the proposed aggregation operators. Finally, a hotel selection problem is presented to verify the effectiveness and validity of our developed approach.
