With subs and former subs scattered across the country, bestselling author Sascha Illyvich has waited till now to create a picture of cruel masters who force the women they have chosen to submit and then teach them to love it! By turns savage, ravishing bdsm, and heart-pounding romance The Gift of Her Submission defies description. As Ayden Delacroix has written in In the Library Reviews: Mr. Illyvich wonderfully portrays the Dom/sub relationship as it can be: romantic, caring and full of love. While I found some of the stories contained a bit too much pain for my taste, they were still delicately written and contained warmth. A must-read!

Book excerpt: As the 2022 French Presidential election looms, two candidates emerge as favourites: Marine Le Pen of the Front National, and the charismatic Muhammed Ben Abbes of the growing Muslim Fraternity. Forming a controversial alliance with the political left to block the Front National’s alarming ascendency, Ben Abbes sweeps to power, and overnight the country is transformed. This proves to be the death knell of French secularism, as Islamic law comes into force: women are veiled, polygamy is encouraged and, for our narrator François – misanthropic, middle-aged and alienated – life is set on a new course. Submission is a devastating satire, comic and melancholy by turns, and a profound meditation on faith and meaning in Western society.

He wasn’t even the man he said he was. He was dangerous. Everyone told me to hide, to run, but now he’s back. He came for me and I’m not running at all. Because he’s still the man that gave me a reason to breathe and if that’s dangerous, that’s a risk I will have to take.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A philosophical exploration of female submission, using insights from feminist thinkers—especially Simone de Beauvoir—to reveal the complexities of women’s reality and lived experience What role do women play in the perpetuation of patriarchy? On the one hand, popular media urges women to be independent, outspoken, and career-minded. Yet, this same media glorifies a specific, sometimes voluntary, female submissiveness as a source of satisfaction. In philosophy, even less has been said on why women submit to men and the discussion has been equally contradictory—submission has traditionally been considered a vice or pathology, but female submission has been valorized as innate to women’s nature. Is there a way to explore female submission in all of its complexity—not denying its appeal in certain instances, and not buying into an antifeminist, sexist, or misogynistic perspective? We Are Not Born Submissive offers the first in-depth philosophical exploration of female submission, focusing on the thinking of Simone de Beauvoir, and more recent work in feminist philosophy, epistemology, and political theory. Manon Garcia argues that to comprehend female submission, we must invert how we examine power and see it from the woman’s point of view. Historically, philosophers, psychoanalysts, and even some radical feminists have conflated femininity and submission. Garcia demonstrates that only through the lens of women’s lived experiences—their economic, social, and political situations—and how women adapt their preferences to maintain their own well-being, can we understand the ways in which gender hierarchies in society shape women’s experiences. Ultimately, she asserts that women do not actively choose submission. Rather, they consent to—and sometimes take pleasure in—what is prescribed to them through social norms within a patriarchy. Moving beyond the simplistic binary of natural destiny or moral vice, We Are Not Born Submissive takes a sophisticated look at how female submissiveness can be explained.

Book excerpt: Can you discern the times? This book was written to a sister by a sister for the sisters. As we prepare for the return of Our King, Our Abba Yah is using His servants to wake up His lost sheep. In this book Abba Yahuah is calling His sheep to return to Him. There is a specific place He has marked for His meeting place and it is at the threshing floor of your heart. Many are asking where is Alluah? He is still at the same place He was from Day One. He desires submission and then we will be able to experience His presence with us. The act of submission restores us and allows the refreshing of Yah to overflow in us. It ushers in His Deliverance, His Light, His healing and His Blessing. In this book every sister will have the opportunity to get a concrete understanding of what Our Abba is asking of us in this season. Without the presence of Yahuah which is His light we can not be a light to those around us. So we have laid out some tools to help our sisters go through the process of submitting to their Eternal Ab. The purpose of this quick read is to help sisters align themselves with the perfect will of Yahuah that they will become the fruit bearing trees Yahuah built them to be and that they will bear much fruit.

Book excerpt: For whatever reason, both men and women are mistaken when it comes to understanding much of the Scripture and the power of God concerning the way men and women have been created. Many also misunderstand the roles each of them was created for. Many men will agree that sex and submission are essential parts of marriage. However, there are many men who fail to see spiritual connectedness as being just as important. Spiritual connectedness encourages oneness in a way that few marriages experience. Every woman needs her man to be the spiritual head of the home, just as God created him to be. Covering her and her children with prayer, scripture, and spiritual mentoring reassures her of the hope for tomorrow that is needed to get through the difficulties of today. In the inspirational Sex, Submission, and Spirituality, author Amanda Schwab specifically outlines what the majority of women believe to be misconceptions held by many men. These misconceptions reflect their knowledge and understanding of women and the differences God created in them. You will find clear explanations of these areas concerning the woman who sleeps beside you. Knowing the biblical truths about your Woman Beautiful will afford you the freedom to be the man God created you to be-one thriving in the abundance of His grace, knowledge, and wisdom and one rich in the reward of your wife's selfless and exhilarating love. Pick upSex, Submission, and Spiritualitytoday and watch with sweet anticipation as God does the unbelievable!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Let’s get practical – how do real women live out God’s plan in 21st-century marriages? Too often submission is represented as repressive servanthood, rather than a voluntary desire to empower a husband’s leadership. And as with many things in our culture, this view of submission has found its way into our churches and marriages. In reality, women desperately want to experience the graceful waltz where both the husband and wife are in harmony - each 'dancing' their God-given role. But all too often, there are no realistic, Godly models from which to draw. Author and speaker Cindy Easley surveyed ordinary women and asked, “How does this work for you?” Specifically, how do women live out submission in her particular situation? These are their stories, from caring for a chronically ill husband to living with a nonbeliever. Each example will help married or engaged women gain appreciation for God’s will for marriage and learn to dance with the one they love.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Individuals sometimes derive sexual pleasure from submission to cruel discipline. While that predilection was noted as early as the sixteenth century, masochism was not codified as a concept until 1890. According to John K. Noyes, its invention reflected a crisis in the liberal understanding of subjectivity and sexuality which continues to inform discussions of masochism today. In essence, it remains a political concept. Viennese physician Richard von Krafft-Ebing coined the term masochism, based on the work of Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. Noyes analyzes the social and political problems that inspired the concept, suggesting, for example, that the triumphant expansion of European colonialism was in part animated by an ambivalence in masculine sexuality. Noyes documents the evolution of the concept of masochism with scenes in literature from John Cleland's Fanny Hill through Sacher-Masoch's Venus in Furs and Pauline Reage's Story of 0. Analysis of Freud's vastly influential rereading of masochism precedes an exploration of the work of his successors, including Wilhem Reich, Theodor Reik, Helene Deutsch, and Karen Horney. Noyes suggests that the thematics of feminine masochism emerged only gradually from an exclusively male concept.

Book excerpt: When Tess and Eliot stumble upon an ancient book hidden in a secret tunnel beneath the school library, they accidentally release a devil from his book-bound prison, and he’ll stop at nothing to stay free. He’ll manipulate all the ink in the library books to do his bidding, he’ll murder in the stacks, and he’ll bleed into every inch of Tess’s life until his freedom is permanent. Forced to work together, Tess and Eliot have to find a way to re-trap the devil before he kills everyone they know and love, including, increasingly, each other. And compared to what the devil has in store for them, school stress suddenly doesn’t seem so bad after all.
