Una prima parte dell’E-book descrive l’evoluzione della normativa antincendio, che ha visto negli ultimi mesi la pubblicazione del Codice di prevenzione incendi e della nuova Regola tecnica verticale sulle attività di ufficio. Nello svolgimento dell’attività professionale in questo particolare periodo storico, caratterizzato da un continuo aggiornamento normativo, ci si trova a volte di fronte ad un bivio, e bisogna decidere quale approccio progettuale sia più conveniente seguire. Per questo motivo, le successive sezioni dell’E-book affrontano la progettazione di un attività di ufficio mediante tre impostazioni progettuali differenti: Le regole tecniche tradizionali, in particolare il D.M. 22 febbraio 2006; Il Codice di prevenzione incendi, integrato dalla nuova RTV del 2016; La Fire Safety Engineering. Si tenga conto che le prime due metodologie sono alternative tra di loro, mentre la F.S.E. può essere applicata nel caso in cui sia necessario chiedere una deroga ad una particolare misura prevista dalla norma. Pertanto la F.S.E. è stata presa in considerazione per sviluppare alcuni particolari aspetti della progettazione e non l’intero progetto. Al fine di predisporre una linea guida organica che affrontasse tutti gli aspetti della sicurezza antincendio, è stato descritto un ipotetico progetto di un fabbricato adibito ad uffici. In particolare si tratta di un fabbricato progettato qualche anno fa dall’autore secondo le norme tradizionali, che risulta attualmente realizzato e già in esercizio. Il fabbricato in oggetto ospita gli uffici direzionali di un’importante Società multinazionale con base nel capoluogo piemontese. Al fine di fornire una linea guida applicabile anche a casi diversi da quello in oggetto, alcuni aspetti del progetto sono stati volutamente alterati, per affrontare anche alcune tematiche particolari che in realtà non erano presenti nell’edificio realizzato. L’intera sezione che descrive la progettazione secondo il Codice è pertanto un progetto virtuale, in quanto è stata redatta quando ormai l’edificio preso ad esempio era stato realizzato, ma essa riveste particolare importanza in relazione allo scopo della presente pubblicazione.
